KABUL \u2013 Iranian border security forces are accused of recently killing at least 16 Afghan refugees and wounding as many in the Meenab area of Zahedan City, Iran, Afghanistan Times reported February 11.<\/p>\n

The Afghan refugees were travelling by bus when the Iranian border forces opened fire on the bus, Kapisa Province Senator Noor Mohammad Noori said in a statement issued by the Afghan parliament.<\/p>\n

The Iranian forces also detained five Afghan passengers and sent wounded refugees to an Iranian hospital, sources said.<\/p>\n

Noori has demanded that Kabul bring up the issue and repatriate the bodies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
