He added: &#8220;This execution was done with full legal process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On April 19, Hassan Rouhani, the regime&#8217;s president described\u00a0the anti-human and anti-Islamic executions in Iran as \u201cGod\u2019s commandments\u201d or \u201claws of the people\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to commanders of the Iranian regime&#8217;s State Security Forces, he said: \u201cwhen someone is condemned to death and he comes to the gallows according to the law, then we have no right to insult him as he is being taken to the gallows\u2026 in any case, the law has condemned him and he is punished&#8230; It is either the commandment of God or a law approved by the parliament that belongs to the people and we only execute it &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>More than\u00a0700\u00a0have been executed in\u00a0Iran\u00a0during 2013, 2\/3 of which occurred during\u00a0Rouhani&#8217;s\u00a0tenure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman who allegedly had killed her husband has been hanged by the man&rsquo;s mother on Wednesday&nbsp;at a prison in Iran at the presence of judicial authorities who described the [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":39424,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[15],"tags":[175],"class_list":{"0":"post-16602","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-human-rights","8":"tag-updated"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
