The measures are in line with comments by the mullahs&#8217; Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi who stressed firmness in response to the growing discontent among the people of various provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Brig. Gen. Gorezan, commander of State Security Forces in Kerman said, &#8220;Operation Nasr-3, which is a six-day operation conducted throughout the entire province has been launched with the objective of bringing more security, confiscating illegal arms, getting rid of the hooligans, arresting elements responsible for insecurity and narcotic traffickers, combating criminals and arresting thieves.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He reiterated, &#8220;During this operation, 737 homes and 328 shops were searched &#8230; and 541 suspects were arrested.
