NCRI – Remarks made by a member of parliament in Iran and a close associate of Ali Khamenei has unveiled the clerical regime’s role in the recent developments in Yemen and its plans for exporting terrorism and fundamentalism which he referred to as plan to ‘unifying Muslims by Islamic Revolution.”<\/p>\n
Alireza Zakani said: \u201cA phenomenon more colossal than Lebanon is unfolding: Out of Yemen\u2019s 20 provinces, 14 have fallen into the hands of revolutionaries and 90% of Sanaa has also fallen\u2026 With this, they have changed all the equations. After the victory in Yemen, surely it is Saudi Arabia\u2019s turn since these two countries share a 2000 kilometer border. Besides, today, two million organized armed men are in Yemen\u2026 Today, the Islamic Revolution has taken over three Arabic capitals and in a while it will occupy Sanaa as well and the system to unify Muslims will become operational.\u201d<\/p>\n
Zakani said: \u201cThe United States, Britain, France, Germany and Jordan, as well as many other countries, attempted to break Syria and the only country that stood up and disrupted this program was Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n
Zakani went on to say that if Qassem Suleimani, Commander of the terrorist Quds Force, \u201chad reached Baghdad a few hours late, Baghdad would have fallen. Similarly, in case of absence of an Iranian model and will, Syria would have fallen. After his victory in the elections Bashar al-Assad said that instead of congratulating me, go and congratulate the leadership in Iran.\u201d (state-run news website Tabnak, September 20, 2014)<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, on September 21, Reuters quoted \u201csenior officials\u201d of the clerical regime as saying: \u201cIran is ready to work with the United States and its allies to stop Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants, but would like to see more flexibility on Iran\u2019s uranium enrichment program.\u201d<\/p>\n
These remarks clearly demonstrate that the clerical regime intends to exploit the present crisis in the region to make up for the heavy blow it has received due to the fall of Nouri al-Maliki in Iraq, and to use the crisis as a leverage to spread of its influence in the region while gaining concessions in the nuclear talks to have the path open for continuing on its efforts for obtaining the nuclear bomb.<\/p>\n
The Mullahs in Iran are looking to use the crisis in the region to delay the signing of any agreement or to impose their demands in any final agreement. The Iranian Resistance warns that any agreement that falls short of the Security Council resolutions, a complete halt to enrichment, and acceptance of intrusive inspections will leave the path to obtaining the nuclear bomb open for this regime.<\/p>\n
