If we take this figure to be correct, we could easily discern that the regime has been lying about the actual number of eligible voters all along.<br \/> During the parliamentary elections in 2004, officials put the number of eligible voters at 46.35 million. With 150,000 voters added each week, this would mean that nine million more voters are eligible since February 2004, bringing the number of eligible voters to 55.35 million.
