\"Iran:NCRI – Three women were reported to have been hanged in Qazvin, west of Tehran, on Monday, June 12. The three were alleged to have been involved in drug trafficking and were hanged in the city’s prison known as Choubindar prison. <\/p>\n

The prison guard officer at the time of execution was a woman by the name of Rafi’i and the governor of the prison is a man called Lotfi. <\/p>\n

The high number of executions and execution of children in Iran under the religious dictatorship has been a matter of grave concern for international rights bodies. In the first nine months of 2006 some 250 people have been executed according to media reports in Iran. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
