Lawyers defending the Iranian Resistance&#8217;s case welcomed this decision in a press release issued on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>The defense lawyers described the reasons presented by the investigative magistrates to refuse the appeal as baseless, just as the whole case has been right from the beginning. &quot;The whole case was based on one sided and bias claims and extremely suspicious witnesses who were obviously in contact with Iran&#8217;s secret services,&quot; said the statement. <\/p>\n<p>The lawyers stressed that the investigative magistrates should now draw the necessary conclusions and admit to the emptiness of the file against members of the Resistance and remove prosecution orders. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;This was done three years ago to please Tehran,&quot; the statement added, &quot;and it is now clear that it was to win commercial contracts.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Today, no appeasement is acceptable especially after the worrying trend taken by the clerical regime over this period which was largely envisaged by Mrs. Rajavi,&quot; concluded the statement. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCRI &ndash; On the third anniversary of June 17 attack on the offices of the National Council of Resistance of Iran by French police, the Paris court of appeals removed [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":29255,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-1757","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-iran-resistance"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
