NCRI – The Iranian Resistance has been praised for its work in providing intelligence on Iran’s quest for a nuclear bomb, which is one of the biggest threats to world peace, a conference in Paris was told.<\/p>\n
Former French domestic intelligence director Yves Bonnet also hailed the courage of Resistance leader Maryam Rajavi for years spent battling the state terrorism perpetrated by the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n
He told a conference in Paris held by the French Mayors Committee in Defense of Ashraf residents: “We must not forget that the worst form of terrorism is state terrorism.<\/p>\n
“This kind of terrorism has military power, police power and also access to embassies and dialogue with other countries in the world. It is very difficult to fight against this form of terrorism.<\/p>\n
“The National Council of Resistance of Iran and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) is fighting against this kind of evil which is state terrorism.”<\/p>\n
And he told Mrs Rajavi: “You and your activists have shown courage in fighting this form of terrorism for 35 years, a form of terrorism that relies on a false religious ideology and a perversion of religion.<\/p>\n
“There is much talk of the generated by ISIS, which attracts a number of misguided young people, whose struggle is regrettable and also tragic for them.<\/p>\n
“ISIS is a smokescreen behind which hides something infinitely more serious, and that is Iran’s march to obtain nuclear weapons. What is more dangerous? Is it 15,000 or 30,000 men fighting in a distant country, or the imminent possession of nuclear weapons by Iran?”<\/p>\n
The proof of Iran’s nuclear program was found in the secret and illegal tunnels being built by the regime, and Iran’s friendship with North Korea, which has its own expertise in the construction of nuclear bombs, he said.<\/p>\n
Mr Bonnet added: “The Iranian Resistance has provided with information never uncovered by the IAEA for almost ten years. All the advances that have been made in our knowledge of the Iranian nuclear program, we owe to the Iranian Resistance.<\/p>\n
“So preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons can be done by helping, supporting and recognizing the Iranian Resistance as a representative of the Iranian people.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
