Professor Raj Baldev passed away, in India. A Cosmo Theorist, an international peace activist and old friend of Iranian Resistance, Mr. Baldev headed India’s World Peace Delegation and founded the God Believers Association.<\/p>\n

Prof. Raj Baldev assisted the Iranian people and Resistance since the outset of their nationwide resistance in June 1981 and the Iranian regime’s ruthless crackdown. He wrote letters of protest to the UN Secretary General, presidents of the United States and France and other international personalities to expose the crimes of the clerical regime.<\/p>\n

In 1984, he met with the Iranian Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi and granted him the Peace Award of India’s National Coalition for his efforts for peace in the Iran-Iraq war.<\/p>\n

Prof. Baldev kept up his support for the freedom fighters in Ashraf and Camp Liberty for more than three decades and did not relent in defending their rights. He wrote dozens of articles in India’s International Reporter and exposed the crimes of Tehran’s bloodletting rulers at every opportunity.<\/p>\n

In an interview he said: “How could the world overlook its obligations regarding the safety and security of Ashraf residents?<\/p>\n

Last year following the GBA’s choice of Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u00a0as \u201cthe most honorable\u201d woman of the year in 2013, Prof. Baldev said Maryam Rajavi had devoted her life to the humanity in general and wellbeing of the people of Iran in particular. He granted this award to Mrs. Rajavi in a ceremony in the course of the grand gathering of Iranians in Paris in 2014.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the demise of this great humanist and freedom-loving man, Maryam Rajavi hailed him for his activities advocating peace, democracy and wellbeing for all people in India and around the world. She said: Prof. Raj Baldev rose most sincerely in support of the Iranian people, Resistance and the Mojahedin in Ashraf in the most difficult circumstances. The Iranian people will never forget his exalted memory, courageous assistance and steadfast endurance in the face of the worst contemporary enemy of humanity.<\/p>\n
