{"id":18926,"date":"2015-08-12T15:45:33","date_gmt":"2015-08-12T14:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/issues\/human-rights\/18926-poverty-forces-iranian-youths-to-sell-organs-including-eyes"},"modified":"2023-01-15T10:07:01","modified_gmt":"2023-01-15T09:07:01","slug":"poverty-forces-iranian-youths-to-sell-organs-including-eyes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/statement-human-rights\/poverty-forces-iranian-youths-to-sell-organs-including-eyes\/","title":{"rendered":"Poverty forces Iranian youths to sell organs including eyes"},"content":{"rendered":"<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-43709\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/08\/poor-child-in-iran-300_300_202.jpg\" alt=\"Poor children in Iran\" title=\"Poor children in Iran\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about\/our-resistance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">NCRI<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; While the massive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-world\/18735-iran-ali-khamenei-s-family-wealth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">wealth of Ali Khamenei<\/a>\u00a0and other senior officials of the Iranian regime and the theft of billions of dollars by those affiliated to the regime are subject of talk all over Iran, the number of people <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/18916-iranian-man-decides-to-sell-his-eye-for-2000-out-of-poverty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">resorting to selling their organs<\/a>\u00a0to make ends meet in Iran under the mullahs\u2019 regime is escalating significantly.<br \/>While selling blood, kidneys and livers is now common in Iran, currently this market is witnessing a growing trend of human eyes being placed for sale, reports indicate (state-run Shahr-e Ara daily \u2013 August 11, 2015).<\/p>\n<p>Deprived people that literally cannot make ends meet for themselves or their family due to extreme poverty and unemployment have no other choice but to sell their organs at risk to their health.<br \/>\u201cSeventy percent of all kidney transplants in Iran were from living individuals, whereas in other countries across the globe this rate is only 15%,\u201d admitted Mohammad Reza Ganji, head of the Iranian regime\u2019s nephrology Association.<br \/>\u201cNew market for buying and selling eyeballs\u201d, \u201cKidneys for sale with discount\u201d, \u201cKidneys for sale, AB+, 18 year old\u201d, \u201cLiver for sale, O-, 23 year old\u201d, and \u201cbone marrow for sale, B-, 54 year old\u201d are just some of the writings advertising organ sales on the Internet and on walls in cities across Iran.<br \/>The mullahs\u2019 regime does not impose restrictions on living individuals selling their organs and has in fact made this a tool for embezzling the deprived people of Iran. A large number of websites and blogs launched for this very cause are actually encouraging this viciousness and evil trade.<br \/>These developments are taking place as the bloodthirsty mullahs are allocating billions of dollars of the Iranian people\u2019s wealth for the export of terrorism and fundamentalism and warmongering across the region, especially in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen to
