Munich Conference meeting in Tehran in presence of German Foreign Minister is against peace and security and is strongly condemned<\/strong><\/p>\n Allowing Iranian regime intervention in Syrian crisis will exacerbate, prolong and spread the conflict and crisis<\/strong><\/p>\n The Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran considers holding a meeting of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) in Tehran on October 17 and the visit by the German Foreign Minister to Iran an act against human rights in Iran and against regional and global peace and security that is to be condemned. It calls on the MSC Chairman and the German Foreign Minister to cancel their trips to Iran and call off the conference in Tehran.<\/p>\n Such relations shall only encourage the religious fascism ruling Iran that has so far executed 120,000 political prisoners, in its executions, tortures and suppression. In just a few days prior to this meeting, the Iranian regime has hanged 25 prisoners – two of them only 17 years old at the time of their alleged crime and another three publicly executed.<\/p>\n Addressing the religious fascism ruling Iran to answer the call for provision of global security comes on the heels of the regime\u2019s leaders blackmailing the international community by test-firing long range missiles and showing \u201ca deep underground tunnel packed with missiles and launcher units\u201d. IRGC Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said numerous such tunnels exist across the country at a depth of 500 meters. \u201cLong-range missile bases are stationed and ready under the high mountains in all the country\u2019s provinces and cities,\u201d he said. The missiles are ready to be launched from all over Iran; “this is a sample of our massive missile bases,” he added. (AFP \u2013 October 15)<\/p>\n According to the Munich Security Conference website, \u201cheld in cooperation with the governments of Germany and Iran, the Core Group Meeting will focus on the war in Syria as well as Tehran’s global and regional role\u201d after sealing the nuclear agreement. The religious fascism ruling Iran is the foremost element in the prolongation of the Syrian crisis, the massacre of 300,000 Syrians, and the prevention of Bashar Assad\u2019s downfall. Permitting any meddling by this regime in the resolution of this crisis translates into intensification, expansion and prolongation of the conflict and the crisis in the region with the mullahs ruling Iran as its greatest beneficiary.<\/p>\n In such circumstances, the conference\u2019s \u201cneed to discuss possible joint approaches to dealing with the various regional crises, particularly in Syria,\u201d and \u201cthe security architecture in the Middle East\u201d that were posted on the MSC website are a cover-up for the economic interests that the website alludes to as \u201cthe economic and energy policy implications of the Vienna agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n The scale of the Iranian regime\u2019s criminal meddling in Syria is to an extent that in less than a week three IRGC brigadier generals have been killed in that country. On the occasion of the death of Brigadier General Hamedani in Syria, IRGC Commander Jafari noted: \u201cHad it not been for General Hamedani, Damascus and subsequently the Islamic Revolution\u2019s front would have fallen\u2026 and now the fate of the Islamic Republic [meaning the fate of the Iranian regime] would have been up in the air\u201d. Another official said: \u201cHamedani has been killed in Syria so that insecurity would not extend to Tehran\u2026 Hamedani participated in 80 operations in Syria and organized over 40 to 50 thousand Syrians.\u201d<\/p>\n The NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee reiterates that the sole solution for the Syrian crisis is the eviction of the Iranian regime from that country and it urges all legislators, politicians and human rights defenders in Europe, especially in Germany, to act to call off this trip that is to the detriment of global peace and security.<\/p>\n
