These methods are used as a tool to overcome opposition to the ruling parties, and an end must be sought.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This UN resolution is a great step forward in tackling these issues, but more must be done, not only in Iran but across the world, where many people live in fear of oppression. The cause has cross-party support across both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, and shows that the Government must do more to raise these issues with Tehran, in order to see an end to the human rights abuses suffered at the hands of a regime built on fear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scottish MP Martyn Day has supported the cause of establishing human rights in Iran, the Daily Record and Sunday Mail reported on Sunday.
