{"id":19692,"date":"2015-12-25T20:14:40","date_gmt":"2015-12-25T20:14:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/issues\/human-rights\/19692-inhuman-treatment-of-christian-prisoner-in-iran-s-notorious-gulag"},"modified":"2023-01-15T23:13:22","modified_gmt":"2023-01-15T22:13:22","slug":"inhuman-treatment-of-christian-prisoner-in-iran-s-notorious-gulag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/human-rights\/inhuman-treatment-of-christian-prisoner-in-iran-s-notorious-gulag\/","title":{"rendered":"Inhuman treatment of Christian prisoner in Iran\u2019s notorious gulag"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"ebrahim-firouzi\" class=\" size-full wp-image-45085\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/12\/ebrahim-firouzi.jpg\" alt=\"ebrahim-firouzi\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NCRI &#8211; Ebrahim Firouzi, an Iranian Christian prisoner in the notorious Gohardasht (Rajai Shahr) Prison in Karaj, north-west of the Iranian capital Tehran, is being deprived of medical treatment by the mullahs\u2019 regime although he suffers from acute diseases, according to local reports.<\/p>\n<p>It is over a year now that he is suffering of acute pain in the left side of his chest and his condition has deteriorated in the past three months.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Firouzi was arrested on August 25, 2013 and condemned by a court in Robat Karim, south-west of Tehran, to one year in prison and two years exile in Sarbaz County. Although his prison term ended on January 13, 2015, he is still being kept in prison.
