All times in this live report are local.<\/p>\n<p>Sham Elections \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/terrorism-fundamentalism\/19946-iranian-regime-paving-the-way-to-announce-over-70-voter-turnout-in-election-theatrics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">NCRI statement No. 4<\/a>: Since several days ago, the antihuman clerical regime has been paving the way to announce a 70% voter turnout in the sham elections. On Thursday February 25, a day prior to the elections, the regime\u2019s Minister of Interior told state TV: \u201cVarious opinion polls indicate a 65% to 70% turnout for tomorrow\u2019s elections and we predict a 70% turnout.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sham Elections \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/iran-sham-election\/19944-iran-preparing-the-ground-for-vote-rigging-and-astronomical-number-fixings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">NCRI statement No. 3<\/a>: Attempts by the Iranian regime to threaten or lure people to participate in the elections as well as astronomical increase in the number of the voter participation and vote rigging that had begun a few days ago escalated today.<\/p>\n<p>Sham Elections \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/terrorism-fundamentalism\/19941-election-theatrics-controlled-by-revolutionary-guards-and-bassij\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">NCRI statement No. 2<\/a>: In fear of popular protests, the Iranian regime has brought on the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), Bassij and suppressive security and intelligence forces to the streets under the pretext of providing security to the ballot boxes to create a climate of terror and fear to prevent incidents of popular anger and hatred<\/p>\n<p>Sham Elections \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/terrorism-fundamentalism\/19940-regime-s-power-struggle-among-murderers-and-criminals-people-ignore-sham-elections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"alternate noopener noreferrer\">NCRI statement No. 1<\/a>: The Iranian regime\u2019s spectrum of leaders are pleading and calling on the people to actively participate in the sham elections for the parliament and the Assembly of Experts which are nothing but a rivalry and a power struggle between various murderers and perpetrators of crime against humanity.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>11.30 &#8211;<\/strong> Reports from polling stations in the Iranian capital Tehran between 09.00 am and 11.00 am:<\/p>\n<p>Hassanabad Fashafouyeh, Tehran &#8211; Shahr-e Rey: Number of officials present: 5; Voters: 3.<br \/>Jameye Narmak Mosque, in Semnegan Street in Tehran&#8217;s Narmak District: Number of voting inspectors: 5; police forces: 2, voters: 1 person.<br \/>Opposite the Farhang Cinema, off Shariati Street: Officials present: 7; police: 2, voters: none.<br \/>1st Lane, off Mirdamad Street, Shams Tabrizi: No one present, only two police forces were standing outside laughing together.<br \/>Sattarkhan Voting Station, opposite the Barq ol-Sotoum, in Kashani-Pour Street: Officials present: 7; bystanders: 3, voters: 3 people.<br \/>Voting Station 885 in Damavand Street, off Rajabi Street: Officials present: 5; others present: 15.<br \/>Mowlavi Street, Seyed Esmaeil Bazaar: Police: 2; others present: 6.<br \/>Resalan School in Gorgan Street: Polling monitors: 7; police: 2; voters: 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11.30:<\/strong> Reports from various Iranian cities:<br \/>Mashhad&#8217;s Ahmad-Abad District: The town is quiet; no one seen approaching the voting booth.<br \/>Chalous: Jame&#8217;e Salman Mosque: Number of voters: 8; number of voting monitors: 7.<br \/>Arak, Bandar Abbas, Karaj, Naqadeh and Tabriz are also reported to be quite. In Abadan there are reports that all military and security personnel have been ordered to carry their ID papers were them throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An Update from Evin Prison:<\/strong> Iranian political prisoner Alireza Golipour was interrogated by prison guards on Thursday for writing &#8220;Death to Khamenei,&#8221; &#8220;Death to the Dictator,&#8221; and &#8220;No to the sham elections&#8221; on the wall in Tehran&#8217;s notorious Evin Prison. During his interrogation he told the wardens that what he has written is his belief.
