In a message to the people of Iran, Mr. Czarnecki said:<\/p>\n
My name is Ryszard Czarnecki. I am from Poland, and I am a Vice President of the European Parliament. We’re delighted that last week Madam Maryam Rajavi was in the European Parliament and was warmly received by many of my colleagues. I have met her several times. She has a lot of sympathy in this Parliament from all political groups. We have supported her 10-point platform for a free Iran, including her goals for real democracy, women’s rights and an end to the death penalty. We believe that the current regime in Iran is a religious dictatorship, and the European Union must focus on human rights in Iran before making business deals.
