More than 5000 miners work in these private and public sector coal mines.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, according to the state-run ILNA news agency, workers of East Alborz Coal Mines protested against two months non-payment of their salaries as well as bonuses and said: \u201cAlthough two months of the new year have passed, the bonuses of 400 miners working in East Alborz Coal Mines as well as two months delayed and unpaid salaries are not paid yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another report in ILNA said that 120 workers of the Jam tile factory in Boroujerd, western Iran, have lost their jobs due to the tile industry downturn and closure of production units in this industry resulting in total closure of the factory.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, May 27, ILNA reported that 1800 workers in Isfahan Province, central Iran, have lost their jobs.
