political prisoners, and two weeks after the publication of Mr Montazeri\u2019s audio file regarding this horrific massacre, Khamenei the supreme leader of religious fascism ruling Iran was forced to react. <\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, August 24, 2016 and on the occasion of the \u201cWeek of Government.\u201d Khamenei stated: \u201cUnfortunately some people are trying to provide an atmosphere of oppression for Mojahedin (PMOI\/MEK) members, and tarnish the image of Imam (Khomeini) but they will not be successful,\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Confessing to the catastrophic economic crisis that has entirely engulfed the country he expressed: \u201cToday, economic problems and bottlenecks are the foremost problem of the country,\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Expressing his fear of social unrest and highlighting the regime\u2019s need to adopt more repressive measures on the pretext of \u2018the country\u2019s security\u2019 Khamenei praised the suppressive security forces: \u201cfor their role in safeguarding the Islamic Republic\u2019s security at a time when insecurity is rampant in regional countries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCRI
