[The regime] has imposed a miserable and stressful life on the Iranian people.\u201d They also held up signs that read: \u201cRaise teacher salaries above the poverty line,\u201d \u201cOur nation demands an end to corruption and abjection\u201d and \u201cImprisoned teacher must be freed.\u201d Iran Executes Ahvazi Arab Men \u2018Tortured to Confess\u2019 The Iranian regime has executed two members of the Ahvazi Arab minority population who were opponents of the regime. Abdullah Karmollah Chab and Ghassem Abdullah, from Iran\u2019s Ahvazi Arab minority, were executed in the Fajr prison in the south-western city of Dezful. They were executed on Sunday, August 4 following months of torture during which both were forced to make false confessions. The official IRNA news agency said Sunday the two men were convicted of \u201cenmity against God\u201d in connection with an armed attack in 2015. The men, however, had denied any involvement in the attack. Their lawyers had said there were no evidence linking them to the attack. Rural Telecom Employees from Across Iran Protest in Tehran Rural telecom employees from across Iran on Tuesday held a protest outside the Telecommunication Company of Iran headquarters in Tehran. They protested the decision of the state-run TCI to refrain from giving them full-time employment contracts.
