Reports indicate that the health conditions of these political prisoners are deteriorating and they are suffering from severely low blood pressure and significant weight loss. Bashir and Rahmi started their hunger strike on July 22, Mostafa and Ghader started theirs on July 23. Bagheri started his strike on August 7, protesting against his deteriorating health and legal conditions, and his exile to the Greater Tehran Prison. The torturers of the Iranian regime transferred Bagheri to the ward of dangerous criminals on the fourth day of his strike to intimidate him. Bagheri had previously gone on a five-day hunger strike in protest to lack of medical services and his transfer. All Communication Banned for Mother of Political Prisoner The repressive prison warden and torturers in the notorious Evin Prison have banned all outside communications to family and friends of Mrs. Farangis Mazloum. Mrs. Mazloum, the mother of a prominent political prisoner, Soheil Arabi, was arrested and sent to Tehran\u2019s notorious Evin Prison on July 21. She is being kept in Evin\u2019s dredged ward 209 where political prisoners are kept. All outside calls or contacts to Mrs. Mazloum have been cut off. Her son, Soheil Arabi, also a political prisoner, was arrested on November 7, 2013, for advocating freedom and activities against the regime\u2019s tyrannical policies. The names of the hunger strikers are Mostafa Sabzi, Ghader Salimi, Bashir Pirmavaneh and Rahmi Tourgout. Reports indicate that the health conditions of these political prisoners are deteriorating and they are suffering from severely low blood pressure and significant weight loss. Bashir and Rahmi started their hunger strike on July 22, Mostafa and Ghader started theirs on July 23.Hunger Strike by MEK Supporter in the Greater Tehran PrisonAkbar Bagheri, a political prisoner and supporter of the Iranian Opposition People's Mojahedin incarcerated in the Greater Tehran Prison has begun a hunger strike. Bagheri started his strike on August 7, protesting against his deteriorating health and legal conditions, and his exile to the Greater Tehran Prison.The torturers of the Iranian regime transferred Bagheri to the ward of dangerous criminals on the fourth day of his strike to intimidate him. Bagheri had previously gone on a five-day hunger strike in protest to lack of medical services and his transfer.All Communication Banned for Mother of Political PrisonerThe repressive prison warden and torturers in the notorious Evin Prison have banned all outside communications to family and friends of Mrs. Farangis Mazloum.Mrs. Mazloum, the mother of a prominent political prisoner, Soheil Arabi, was arrested and sent to Tehran\u2019s notorious Evin Prison on July 21. She is being kept in Evin\u2019s dredged ward 209 where political prisoners are kept.All outside calls or contacts to Mrs. Mazloum have been cut off.Her son, Soheil Arabi, also a political prisoner, was arrested on November 7, 2013, for advocating freedom and activities against the regime\u2019s tyrannical policies.
