I hereby warn them not to use this foreign messenger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Intelligence\u2019s \u201cMehr\u201d news agency had reported in July that nearly 20 million people in Iran are using Telegram.<\/p>\n<p>It should be pointed out that in an attempt to pave the way to shut down Telegram, Tasnim news agency quoted on August 23 from Mahmood Vaezi, Minister of Communications in Rouhani Government, as saying: \u201cWe don\u2019t agree with the continuation of Telegram\u2019s activity in Iran. Besides, it is not acceptable security-wise that the information related to 20 million Iranians be stored outside of Iran providing them with the possibility to manipulate these
