The regime’s deputy head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Agency said the regime has 1,200 kg of enriched uranium, which is much higher than allowed<\/strong><\/small><\/p>\n

Ali Asghar Zarean,\u00a0the\u00a0deputy\u00a0head of\u00a0the\u00a0Iranian\u00a0regime\u2019s nuclear agency, declared on January 25\u00a0that\u00a0the regime\u2019s\u00a0enriched\u00a0uranium stockpile has reached\u00a01,200\u00a0Kg.\u00a0\u00a0Yet, he did\u00a0not\u00a0mention the level of\u00a0purity\u00a0of this\u00a01,200\u00a0Kg\u00a0enriched uranium.<\/p>\n

This a clear violation of\u00a0Iran 2015\u00a0nuclear\u00a0deal with world powers, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA, under which terms the regime was not allowed to\u00a0stockpile more than 300kg of enriched uranium.\u00a0This violation is in line with the regime\u2019s so-called \u201cfifth step\u201d in breaching\u00a0the JCPOA. The regime started these steps in reducing its commitments to blackmail\u00a0the signatories of the deal to\u00a0receive more incentive packages, despite\u00a0the\u00a0regime\u2019s malign activities in the region.<\/p>\n

After the regime\u2019s\u00a0so-called\u00a0\u201cfifth step,\u201d the\u00a0European powers reluctantly triggered the\u00a0United Nations\u00a0dispute mechanism which, given the regime\u2019s\u00a0steps in reducing its commitments under the terms of the JCPOA, will snap-back\u00a0UN\u00a0sanctions on the regime.\u00a0Yet,\u00a0Reuters reported on January\u00a024,\u00a0that\u00a0the EU\u2019s top diplomat\u00a0Josep\u00a0Borrell\u00a0extended the time available to discuss ways to save the 2015 nuclear deal with\u00a0the regime\u00a0under\u00a0the\u00a0dispute mechanism triggered by France, Germany and Britain.<\/p>\n

This is being done, while the regime\u2019s president,\u00a0after the EU initiated the dispute mechanism, fearfully pleaded that the regime is not seeking\u00a0a nuclear bomb. A position which shows the regime\u2019s desperation\u00a0and weakness.<\/p>\n
