<\/u><\/strong>724 OF THE VICTIMS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED SO FAR<\/h2>\n

The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a>\u00a0released the names of\u00a020<\/strong>\u00a0more martyrs of the\u00a0November uprising\u00a0<\/a>that swept 191 cities across Iran, bringing to\u00a0724<\/strong>\u00a0the number of those killed, who have been identified so far.<\/p>\n

More than two months after the uprising, despite domestic and international calls, the Iranian regime, fearing the repercussions of committing a crime against humanity, refuses to announce the number of those killed, wounded, and detained. The latter are under brutal torture in different prisons to make forced televised confessions.<\/p>\n

During the protests by people and university students in the past few days in 19 provinces, the people were chanting, \u201c1,500 killed in November.\u201d They also called for the release of those arrested during the uprising.<\/p>\n

Mrs.\u00a0Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the President-elect of\u00a0the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>, again called on the United Nations Secretary-General to dispatch a fact-finding mission to Iran to investigate the status of those killed and wounded and visit the prisons and those arrested.<\/p>\n
