The protesters urged\u00a0the\u00a0EU to withdraw from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal with world powers, initiate the\u00a0UN\u00a0trigger mechanism\u00a0and reinstate\u00a0six\u00a0United Nations Security Council\u2019s resolutions against the regime.<\/p>\n<p>While referring to the regime\u2019s recent breach of the nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the MEK and NCRI supporters urged the EU member states\u00a0to reimpose UN Security Council\u2019s resolutions against the regime.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters also expressed their solidarity with the victims of the Ukrainian passenger jet, which was exploded by the regime\u2019s missile on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>This rally was attended by Paulo Casaca,\u00a0a former Member of the European Parliament;\u00a0Claude\u00a0Moniquet,\u00a0CEO of the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center;\u00a0NCRI member Mr. Hamid Reza Taherzadeh and chairs of various Iranian associations in Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>The MEK supporters held pictures of the NCRI\u2019s president-elect\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/maryam-rajavi\/14237-maryam-rajavi\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maryam Rajavi\u00a0<\/a>and the leader of the Iranian\u00a0Resistance\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ncr-iran.org\/en\/massoud-rajavi\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Massoud<\/a><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ncr-iran.org\/en\/massoud-rajavi\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Rajavi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters called the elimination of Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the regime\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guards\u00a0Corps\u00a0(IRGC) Quds Force, an irreparable blow to the Iranian regime.\u00a0 They also highlighted that Soleimani was responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of people in Iran and around the world. He was killed on January 3, during a U.S. airstrike, in Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>The MEK and\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ncr-iran.org\/en\/alternative\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NCRI\u00a0<\/a>supporters also declared their solidarity with the nationwide Iran protests and their brave compatriots risen in over 190 cities.<\/p>\n<p>The participants held banners which read: \u201c<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/terrorism-fundamentalism\/27175-who-was-the-vicious-criminal-qassem-soleimani\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Qassem Soleimani<\/a>\u00a0and IRGC massacred 1500 protesters, wounded 4,000 and detained 12,000 in November,\u201d and \u201c[EU] Stop appeasing the mullahs\u2019 regime and recognize the right of the Iranian people to resistance and freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The protest by the NCRI and MEK supporters in Brussels was widely\u00a0covered\u00a0by European and international media\u00a0organizations. Dozens of news agencies, including Reuters, Associated Press,\u00a0Belga\u00a0News Agency, local and international television, as well as Arab media participated in this rally and\u00a0gave
