Wednesday, January 1, 2020, marks the 48th day since the Iran protests began. Iranian opposition leader\u00a0Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u00a0in a message for the beginning of the New Year said: Congratulations on the advent of 2020. At the beginning of the New Year, the Iran uprising heralds a blessed transformation for the region and the world. It is possible to build a new world based on emancipation, unity, and freedom.<\/p>\n

The resistance units and rebellious youths in Iran have risen up to achieve this goal. I call on all advocates of freedom, democracy, and equality to support the people of Iran.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)<\/a>\u00a0has identified 615 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far. Mrs.\u00a0Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u00a0has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.<\/p>\n

COMMEMORATING THE 40TH DAY OF MARTYRDOM OF THE IRAN PROTESTERS \u2013 NETHERLANDS, GERMANY, GEORGIA- US<\/h3>\n

MEK supporters in central church of the Hague paid tribute to martyrs of Iran protests, condemning the killing of protesters by the mullahs, and they called on the United Nations to send a fact-finding mission to Tehran to investigate the regime\u2019s crimes against humanity. In his speech, Father Derni referred to the general uprising of the Iranian people against the mullahs\u2019 oppression and commemorated the martyrs of this uprising.<\/p>\n
