He has also responded verbally to the political prisoner\u2019s family. \u201cWhat does she want to know? Those who have executed her brother and sister are now either dead or too old and her brother and sister are probably buried in Khavaran cemetery\u201d, said the official.<\/p>\n<p>The official at Tehran Prosecutor\u2019s Office has also told Akbari Monfared\u2019s family that such complaints will yield her nothing and that it\u2019s only going to make her situation at the prison more difficult and prevent her from being allowed to temporarily leave the prison or being released.<\/p>\n<p>This political prisoner has recently filed a complaint from inside the Evin Prison, asking for investigations to be made regarding the 1988 execution of her sister and brother, namely Roghieh Akbari Monfared and Abdolreza Akbari Monfared, so that the officials involved be determined. Since their burial place has not yet been announced to the family, she has also asked for clarification on how they were executed and the place they were buried.<\/p>\n<p>While the official at Tehran Prosecutor\u2019s Office has pointed to the possible burial place of Akbari Monfared\u2019s sister and brother in Khavaran, the eye witnesses have reported that the bodies of the executed prisoners were secretly dumped into mass graves, with no burial ceremonies being carried out.
