Lying and deception are in the Iranian regime\u2019s DNA. In January 2020, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC<\/a>) downed a passenger jet\u00a0<\/span>with<\/span>\u00a0two missiles, killing all 176 passengers<\/a> aboard.<\/span><\/p>\n The Iranian regime\u2019s officials, for\u00a0<\/span>three<\/span>\u00a0consecutive days of deception and lying, claim<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0that the airliner ha<\/span>d<\/span>\u00a0crashed due to\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>technical problem. But when the footages of two missiles hitting the airliner, as well as dozens of other documents became public, the regime\u2019s officials were forced to confess that the IRGC\u2019s missile defense has shot the airplane. Then, the regime claimed that this was just \u201chuman error.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Prior to this, in November, during the anti-regime protests, the regime\u2019s oppressive forces killed 1500 people. The mullahs\u2019 regime\u00a0<\/span>has never been willing to give an official\u00a0<\/span>death toll<\/span>. When all the officials, including the regime\u2019s president, Hassan Rouhani, were questioned<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0they all\u00a0<\/span>gave<\/span>\u00a0the same answer: The coroner has the death toll<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Regarding the spread of the coronavirus, which according to the latest report announced by the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) <\/a>has claimed\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>lives of over 3,300 people<\/a>, the Iranian regime again by lying and deception claimed for weeks that no one\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>Iran ha<\/span>d<\/span>\u00a0contracted the coronavirus. Mohammad Hoss<\/span>e<\/span>in\u00a0Gh<\/span>orbani<\/span>, Deputy Chairman of the Health Commission of the Parliament, who recently bec<\/span>a<\/span>me the Representative of the Ministry of Health in\u00a0<\/span>Gilan<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>rovince, in a secret report to the regime\u2019s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, wrote that 408 people have passed away in\u00a0<\/span>Gilan<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>P<\/span>rovince<\/span>\u00a0alone<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Alireza Rahimi, a member of the regime\u2019s Parliament leadership<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0wrote on his\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>witter<\/span>\u00a0account<\/span>: \u201cWhy was the Coronavirus outbreak in Qom overshadowed by the Majlis elections? Why was Qom not quarantined to prevent the spread of Coronavirus across the country?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Mostafa\u00a0<\/span>Feghi<\/span>, the owner of the state-run\u00a0<\/span>Entekhab<\/span>\u00a0news agency website, on March 9 wrote on\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>witter: \u201cThe number of\u00a0<\/span>people who have died<\/span>\u00a0suspected of being diagnosed with the coronavirus is close to 2000 people across country. Just more than 130 people have passed away in Tehran and\u00a0<\/span>Gilan<\/span>.\u201d However,\u00a0<\/span>he<\/span>\u00a0was later forced to deny his own words.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The disclosure of the death toll, particularly after\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>Iranian\u00a0<\/span>R<\/span>esistance\u2019s revelations, and with the situation around the country becoming critical<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0has trapped the regime in the \u201cdeadlock of\u00a0<\/span>its\u00a0<\/span>cover-up.\u201d If the regime continues the cover-up, it will add to the Iranian people\u2019s explosive anger, drawing the possible explosion closer, because the Iranian people are watching facts closely. They are witnessing that the crucial medical needs are being hoarded by the IRGC and later sold at a much higher price in the market.
