NCRI –\u00a0In an interview with the terrorist Quds Force\u2019s Tasnim news agency, the former Iranian regime\u2019s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces said that \u201cno missile is launched in the country unless approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.\u201d<\/p>\n
In parts of his interview published on November 12, Hassan Firouzabadi said that \u201cthe launch of \u2018Emaad\u2019 missile was approved by his holiness \u2018Agha\u2019 (Khamenei, the Iranian regime\u2019s supreme leader)\u2026 when a missile reaches its testing phase, it needs the approval of \u2018Agha\u2019 (Khamenei) in order to be tested. Missile launch needs Agha\u2019s approval. Even launching missiles during the military exercises need to be approved by the leader of the revolution (Khamenei).\u201d<\/p>\n
He said that \u201cmissile launch without Khamenei\u2019s approval is impossible. But before that, the technical and policy-making commissions make all the necessary arrangements, checking to see whether the missile has technically been properly built, whether it works and also whether that\u2019s politically a good time to test the missile.\u201d<\/p>\n
Firouzabadi added: \u201cthese issues are discussed and voted in those commissions and the final decision will be presented to the leader by the General Staff and if \u2018Agha\u2019 approves, the launch will be carried out, otherwise, it won\u2019t. Even the timing of the launch is determined by him. Missile launch is by no means easy. Unlike a Kalashnikov bullet which may hit a pigeon or a chimney if it goes wrong, the missile could destroy part of a city if gone wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
