Riot in Iran’s prisons<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

There\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>daily reports from Iran about prisoners\u2019 rebellions and break<\/span>outs\u00a0<\/span>from prison amid the coronavirus outbreak<\/a> in Iran.\u00a0<\/span>This is an unprecedented yet very important development in Iran<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>It shows\u00a0<\/span>how weak the oppressive mullahs\u2019 regime\u00a0<\/span>is\u00a0<\/span>and its\u00a0<\/span>incapability<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>helping the most vulnerable to\u00a0<\/span>COVID-19: the prisoners.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday night, March 28, prisoners in the\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Mahabad<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Central Prison rebelled and fled in\u00a0<\/span>protest\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>the regime’s\u00a0<\/span>mismanagement<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>incapability<\/span>\u00a0to control the coronavirus. Simultaneously, On\u00a0<\/span>Saturday, prisoners<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>Alvand<\/span>\u00a0Prison in Hamedan\u00a0<\/span><\/a>protested\u00a0<\/span>the regime\u2019s refusal to release them in the wake of the spread of the Coronavirus, and some managed to escape. Earlier\u00a0<\/span>on<\/span>\u00a0Friday, March 27, prisoners in the\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Saqqez<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Prison in Kurdistan rebelled in\u00a0<\/span>protest\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>the mullahs\u2019 refusal to release them amid the Coronavirus outbreak.<\/span>\u00a0The regime\u2019s suppressive forces in all prisons, particularly the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) forces, opened fire on prisoners killing and wounding dozens of them. Yet the prisoners\u00a0<\/span>chose to fight for their lives rather than\u00a0<\/span>staying id<\/span>l<\/span>y<\/span>\u00a0by.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
