Coronavirus Outbreak in Iran<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As the coronavirus continues to rapidly spread across Iran<\/span>, leaving more casualties,<\/span>\u00a0the question is<\/span>: what is the solution?\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq or MEK)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0announced on\u00a0<\/span>Monday,\u00a0<\/span>that the\u00a0<\/span>coronavirus<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has so far claimed<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0lives of\u00a0<\/span>nearly 15,000 people<\/span><\/a>\u00a0acr<\/span>oss Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime was fully aware of the spread of the COVID-19 since the very <\/span>first<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>days. Yet,<\/span>\u00a0to have a\u00a0<\/span>larger turnout during its sham parliamentary elections<\/span>\u00a0in February, and to continue its business interests with China<\/span>, the regime concealed the truth from\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>public<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and its airlines such as the\u00a0<\/span>Revolutionary<\/span>\u00a0Guards\u2019\u00a0<\/span>Mahan\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>ir<\/span>\u00a0continued the<\/span>ir flights to\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>hina.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the news of the extent of this crisis\u00a0<\/span>was revealed by the\u00a0<\/span>MEK<\/span><\/a>\u00a0network and\u00a0<\/span>by\u00a0<\/span>ordinary people online,\u00a0<\/span>the regime, while\u00a0<\/span>began to<\/span>\u00a0arrest those who were telling the truth,<\/span>\u00a0and thereafter\u00a0<\/span>reluctantly confirmed the existence of this virus yet tried to\u00a0<\/span>downplay it<\/span>\u00a0and kept lying about it.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime\u2019s president, Hassan Rouhani, played a leading role in\u00a0<\/span>this campaign of\u00a0<\/span>deception and lying<\/span><\/a>. He said: \u201c<\/span>We are not among countries where its patients are lying on the floor in the hospitals or the number of deaths\u00a0<\/span>is <\/span>so high that the dead must be transferred with freezer trucks<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe country\u2019s health and therapeutic infrastructure is so firm that it could stand tall until today<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and even if it takes weeks our health system is ready\u201d, Rouhani also claimed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
