NCRI –\u00a0Commenting on the new US government\u2019s policy in the region especially with regard to the Syrian revolution and people, Dr. Nasr Alhariri of the Syrian National Coalition has told Al-Arabiya TV that \u201cthere are realities that have surprised even Assad\u2019s allies. Russia has realized that Assad\u2019s regime doesn\u2019t really exist anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
Member of the Syrian National Coalition Added: \u201cthis regime (Assad) doesn\u2019t have any military force or regular army capable of operating within the military rules and frameworks\u2026 while those who fight on the ground are the Iranian regime\u2019s, Hezbollah and Iraqi militias.<\/p>\n
Actually, during the Obama\u2019s presidency we were faced with the worst scenarios which I don\u2019t think any of which are ever going to happen now. Military support from the opposition was at its lowest level.<\/p>\n
Now, the operation Euphrates Shield is making constant progress. Any kind of direct war or a US proxy war against ISIS will definitely benefit the Syrian revolution and by no means will Bashar Assad benefit from that.<\/p>\n
Even if Hillary Clinton won the US election, nothing would have ever changed, since she had nothing new in hand, either. They wouldn\u2019t set up a safe zone, nor would they arm the opposition with modern weapons. And even they wouldn\u2019t provide the opposition with a typical military support more than what they\u2019ve already done.<\/p>\n
The United states should realize that Assad\u2019s victory in the Syrian war means a victory for the Iranian regime and Russia.<\/p>\n
Today, the continuation of Bashar Assad\u2019s regime and the Iranian regime\u2019s presence (in Syria) will more than ever fan the flames of war, not only in Syria but in the region.<\/p>\n
The new US President will realize that Assad\u2019s regime doesn\u2019t exist in reality. Even Russia has acknowledged in private meetings that Assad\u2019s regime doesn\u2019t exist anymore and has no power to regain control over the Syrian territory. Russia has stated that its military operation is not aimed at winning the war but it\u2019s seeking to impose its conditions on the negotiating table.
