Due to the negligence of the Iranian regime officials, the journey of Iranian pilgrims and travelers to Iraq, especially to the cities of Najaf and Karbala, continued even after the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Since the\u00a0<\/span>2002 Iraq<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>War,\u00a0<\/span>the Iranian regime has increased its deadly presence in Iraq<\/span>\u00a0via terrorism and meddling\u00a0<\/span>in Iraq\u2019 internal affairs. No<\/span>w the mullahs\u2019 regime\u00a0<\/span>has been\u00a0<\/span>identified as\u00a0<\/span>r<\/span>esponsible for\u00a0<\/span>the coronavirus outbreak in Iraq due to its inaction and cover-up in Iran.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In an interview with the Iraqi\u00a0<\/span>Al-Iraqiya TV<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>channel\u00a0<\/span>last week, Dr.\u00a0<\/span>Adham<\/span>\u00a0Ismail, the World Health Organization (WHO)\u2019s representative in Iraq, said<\/span>: \u201cIf it wasn\u2019t [because of the regime in] Iran, no one\u00a0 would have been infected with the [corona]virus in Iraq.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf Iran<\/span>\u00a0wasn\u2019t\u00a0<\/span>reluctant in\u00a0<\/span>combatting the coronavirus, if it had not\u00a0<\/span>been reluctant in its relations with\u00a0<\/span>C<\/span>hina and had not\u00a0<\/span>held its parliamentary elections<\/span>, and not just holding the elections,\u00a0<\/span>pilgrimaging\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>the city of Qom<\/span>\u2026.\u00a0<\/span>[the regime] should ha<\/span>ve<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>imposed<\/span>\u00a0strict hygienic measure\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0<\/span>pilgrimage<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>the disease would had not spread<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>So,<\/span>\u00a0Iran<\/span>\u00a0has caused so many countries to be\u00a0<\/span>infected\u00a0<\/span>[by the coronavirus]<\/span>;<\/span>\u00a0it has infected 17 countries.\u00a0<\/span>If it wasn\u2019t [because of] Iran, no one would have been infected with the coronavirus in Iraq<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since the coronavirus outbreak<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Iran,<\/span>\u00a0the regime, first chose to\u00a0<\/span>completely deny its existence and when more evidence leaked out, the mullahs\u2019 regime was forced to admit to this\u00a0<\/span>crisis yet<\/span>\u00a0tried to downplay it. Since then, the regime has been pursuing a criminal campaign of cover-up,\u00a0<\/span>parallel to its inaction. This attitude has resulted in\u00a0<\/span>over 1<\/span>6<\/span>,<\/span>8<\/span>00<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>casualties and<\/span>\u00a0turned Iran\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>an<\/span>\u00a0epicenter of this virus; according to the reports published by the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahedin-e Khalq or\u00a0<\/a><\/span>MEK).\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime continues its terrorist\u00a0<\/span><\/b>activities in Iraq<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>e<\/span>rrorism and export of chaos abroad is one of the Iranian regime\u2019s pillars of existence, along with domestic oppression.\u00a0<\/span>The regime<\/span>\u00a0has never stopped its illicit activities\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>warmongering plans<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in the\u00a0<\/span>region<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>While the Iranian people have been suffering from poverty and now shortage of medication\u00a0<\/span>and disinfectants\u00a0<\/span>amid the coronavirus outbreak, the regime continues funding its proxy groups in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

New<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0from Iraq\u00a0<\/span>indicate<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0that since the elimination of the Revolutionary Guards\u2019 Quds Force (IRGC \u2013 QF)<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>commander Qassem Soleimani<\/a>, his successor,\u00a0<\/span>Esmail<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Ghaani<\/span>, has traveled to Iraq to coordinate the<\/span>\u00a0activities of the<\/span>\u00a0regime\u2019s terrorist proxy groups. There have also\u00a0<\/span>been some provocative action<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0and attacks against the U.S. forces in Iraq.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime continues its malign<\/span>\u00a0and terrorist<\/span>\u00a0activities<\/span>\u00a0in the region<\/span>, while through its apologists and\u00a0<\/span>regime-<\/span>friendly journalists, it has been blaming U.S. sanction<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0for the\u00a0<\/span>increasing number of coronavirus\u00a0<\/span>deaths\u00a0<\/span>in Iran.\u00a0<\/span>This fact, along with regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>continuous inaction and cover-up of the coronavirus crisis in Iran, its increase of oppressive\u00a0<\/span>measures,\u00a0<\/span>rejecting any foreign help (such\u00a0<\/span>as\u00a0<\/span>help\u00a0<\/span>offer<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0by the U.S. and expelling the Doctors Without Borders from Iran)<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>not releasing prisoners\u00a0<\/span>and killing them instead, confirm that the regime needs the sanctions to be lifted in order to increase its terrorist\u00a0<\/span>activities; and it<\/span>\u00a0uses the coronavirus<\/span>\u00a0as a lever of pressure on the international community to\u00a0<\/span>receive more incentive packages.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a nutshell, the regime is using the coronavirus outbreak<\/a>, via taking the Iranian people<\/span>\u2019s lives hostage, to\u00a0<\/span>fortify its\u00a0<\/span>pillars of existence,\u00a0<\/span>terrorism abroad and domestic oppression to prolong its life. Therefore, the international community\u2019s inaction or<\/span>\u00a0succumbing to the regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>demands will increase the misery in the Middle East, and in this case, due to the coronavirus and threat of terrorism, the whole world.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
