Iran: Coronavirus Update, 19,500 Deaths, April 6, 2020, 6:00 PM CET<\/strong><\/h2>\n

NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF APRIL 6, 2020, 6:00 PM CET):<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran<\/a>\u00a0(PMOI) announced this afternoon, April 6, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a019,500<\/strong>\u00a0in 242 cities across Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

The death count in different provinces includes: 315 in East Azerbaijan, 730 in Alborz, 1660 in Isfahan, 160 in Ilam, 2430 in Tehran, 55 in South Khorasan, 870 in Khuzestan, 370 in Zanjan, 360 in Fars, 320 in Gazvin, 860 in Golestan, 1700 in Gilan, 1630 in Mazandaran, and 42 in Hormozgan. This is in addition to the death toll in other provinces.<\/p>\n

Exiled Iranians, Supporters of MEK in Germany, Urge Germany\u2019s Chancellor to Side With Iran\u2019s People Amid Coronavirus Outbreak<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Association of Exiled Iranian Societies in Germany<\/span>, supporters of the\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, Mujahe<\/a><\/span>din-e Khalq or MEK<\/span>) wrote a letter\u00a0<\/span>to Dr.\u00a0<\/span>Angela Merkel, Germany\u2019s Chancellor, and urged her and the members of Germany\u2019s Bundestag to\u00a0<\/span>condemn the Iranian regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>criminal cover-up of the\u00a0coronavirus outbreak<\/a>\u00a0in Iran. The\u00a0MEK<\/a>\u00a0has announced that so\u00a0<\/span>far,<\/span>\u00a0the coronavirus outbreak has claimed lives of over\u00a0<\/span>18,600 Iranians. The\u00a0MEK<\/a>\u00a0supporters also urged the German government and the\u00a0<\/span>i<\/span>nternational community to take immediate action in helping the Iranian people.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the death tolls of Iran coronavirus outbreak is exceeding 18,000 people, Hassan Rouhani, the Iranian regime’s president, ease work restrictions. The result is that many employees and workers have to go to work and put their lives in great danger. In contrary to the regime’s claims about sanctions and its hinder in the medical sector, Hassan Rouhani says that the regime import medicine.<\/p>\n

…in the past few days the regime\u2019s Health Minister, Medical Apparatus Organization and many officials have warned about a relaunch of administrative work and economic activities. On Saturday, the deputy dean of Alborz Medical Sciences University said if people return to their ordinary lives for economic reasons \u201cthe illness will erupt, and hospitals will be full of patients. We will lose control and will not be able to manage the situation,\u201d he said, adding \u201cone million people will die.\u201d<\/p>\n
