{"id":21644,"date":"2016-12-07T09:57:40","date_gmt":"2016-12-07T09:57:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/issues\/economy\/21644-member-of-iran-regime-parliament-corruption-in-government-is-more-than-before-revolution"},"modified":"2023-01-17T22:36:32","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T21:36:32","slug":"member-of-iran-regime-parliament-corruption-in-government-is-more-than-before-revolution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/economy\/member-of-iran-regime-parliament-corruption-in-government-is-more-than-before-revolution\/","title":{"rendered":"Member of Iran Regime Parliament: Corruption in Government Is More Than Before Revolution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"images\" class=\" size-full wp-image-30130\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2006\/12\/images.jpg\" alt=\"images\" width=\"400\" height=\"250\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NCRI &#8211; A representative of Iranian regime\u2019s parliament from Tehran admitted widespread corruption in the regime and said: \u201cCorruption in the government is more than before the 1979 revolution (in Iran).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to ILNA news agency, Mahmoud Sadeghi, member of parliament from Tehran and head of \u201ctransparency and economic health-making and financial discipline fraction\u201d in the regime\u2019s parliament, in a speech at Amir Kabir University in Tehran once again criticized corruption in the government institutions and the reaction of the Judiciary to his question in the parliament (regarding the report on head of Judiciary\u2019s bank accounts).<\/p>\n<p>He stated that \u201cone of the government losses is seeking hegemony\u201d and said: \u201cMy argument is that why 38 years after the Islamic revolution our situation in combating corruption is worse than the monarchic (Shah\u2019s) government. Wasn\u2019t the Islamic Republic established to fight corruption?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Answering his own question, Sadeghi said if the principle of separation of the powers (three branches of governing) is implemented, the context (ground) for fighting corruption will be prepared. He stated: \u201cA representative has the right to question and investigate in all issues, but some interpretations by the Guardian Council create restrictions which in my opinion is contrary to the text of the law. I merely asked the gentleman a question about the religious and legal aspect of these (bank) accounts. Well, tell (us) what is it? Is this too weird?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Mahmoud Sadeghi called for transparency regarding bank accounts of the head of Judiciary, Sadegh Amoli Larijani.
