The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, April 21, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a03<\/strong>3<\/strong>,<\/strong>4<\/strong>00<\/strong>\u00a0in 294 cities across Iran.<\/p>\n

The death toll in various provinces include: 5,690 in Tehran, 3050 in Qom, 2,620 in Razavi Khorasan, 2470 in Gilan, 2235 in Isfahan, 2190 in Mazandaran, 1318 in Eastern Azerbaijan, 1050 in Western Azerbaijan, 465 in Zanjan, 395 in Sistan and Baluchestan. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.<\/p>\n

Iran\u2013 Navy Commander Hossein Khanzadi admits to the importance of nuclear programs<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On April 16, Iran’s Navy Commander Hossein Khanzadi admitted the importance of nuclear programs for the government. He also highlighted that the government’s nuclear activities are under the supreme leader Ali Khamenei’s supervision.
\n“The Islamic Republic\u2019s position toward nuclear energy is clear and transparent and the supreme leader Ali Khamenei frequently insisted on it. The nuclear programs\u2019 officials and the authorities all know the framework and take steps in this framework,” Khanzadi said.<\/p>\n
