Yet, this time the scenes were released on social media showing the process of elimination of chicks. This is not\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">acceptable;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0we have spoken to the prosecutor&#8217;s office to investigate the motives behind the published footages.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In a similar development,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Akbar\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Golshahi<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, Director General of the Office of Health and Management of Poultry, Bee and Silkworm Diseases of the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad, said: &#8220;Elimination of chicks is used not only in our country but also in the world to create a balance in production.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">So,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0he tried to normalize this<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0notorious act instead\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">explaining why they have done this.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The regime\u2019s officials such as\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rezai<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Golshahi<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0tried first to justify this<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">by\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">blaming poor farmers\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and saying<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0that the overproduction of the chicks<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0has decreased the poultry prices in the market, and since\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">there are apparently\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">no grains the farmers were forced to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">kill their chicks. Yet, theses officials\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">refuse<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0to say why the regime didn\u2019t\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">purchase these chicks to feed impoverished people, particularly amid\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">coronavirus\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">outbreak<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. News from Iran also indicate that there are tons of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">grain at the Iranian\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">harbors<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The regime\u2019s president Hassan Rouhani, ordered\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) to follow<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">up this issue and prosecute those who had \u201caffected the public opinion via publishing these videos online.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Gholam<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">-Ali\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Faraghi<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, president of the country&#8217;s one-day-old chicken producers&#8217; association, said: &#8220;In addition to the lack of poultry inputs at reasonable prices, it is not possible to sell one-day-old chickens due to the presence of broilers in breeding halls.&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The decrease of poultry would have hurt the regime\u2019s affiliated\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">financers<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, particularly those affiliated with the IRGC. One of these people is\u00a0Javad\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Modallal<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, a relative of mullah Nasser\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Makarem<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Shirazi, an ally of the supreme leader Ali Khamenei.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Modallal<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0is one of the famous billionaires in Iran. He and his two sons,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Saman<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and Peyman, monopolized large parts of the country\u2019s economy. They have close ties with the IRGC. This was an illegal and immoral act. The\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">worst,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0however, was the excuses by the officials, trying to justify this by speaking of its background.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A video obtained by the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">shows a chicken breeder\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">telling the regime\u2019s officials: \u201cShame on You. Filthy thugs. My chicks are\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">starving to death. Shame on you. I hope you contract coronavirus and die. I can\u2019t\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">feed them. I wasted\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">all<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0my capital but couldn\u2019t find seeds.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shame on you. Thugs. Look, my chicks are starving\u2026 look.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Iranian regime has committed this crime while millions of Iranians are starving\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to death. Since the coronavirus outbreak in Iran, the regime, instead of helping people or at least telling them the truth<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, ha<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0either continued its inaction or cover-up. The regime, however, tries to use this crisis as levers of domestic oppression and pressure on international community to lift sanctions so the mullahs could continue their illicit activities. In\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">nutshell<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the regime\u2019s official<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, particularly Khamenei and Rouhani<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0do not care about people\u2019s lives and have indeed taken them hostage to pursue their own goals.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Therefore,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">instead of financially\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">helping<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0people, or at least\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">feed<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the impoverished people, the regime has forced them to go back to work amid the coronavirus<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and on the other hand<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, it<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0kills chicks.
