His execution once again debunks the regime\u2019s claims of willingness to help people amid coronavirus outbreak and its efforts to depict sanctions for the country\u2019s crisis.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">In this regard, Mrs.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/maryam-rajavi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Maryam Rajavi<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the President-elect of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/about-ncri\/alternative\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">said: The mullahs\u2019 regime has brought nothing but suppression and execution. According to the regime\u2019s state-run Fars News agency, 80 prisoners managed to escape after clashes with the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and prison guards.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Since the coronavirus outbreak, the Iranian regime has initiated a campaign of domestic cover-up and inaction along with an international effort to frame the U.S. as the reason behind the high coronavirus mortality rate in Iran.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Yet, the regime\u2019s approach toward the prisoners debunks mullahs\u2019 claims and suggests that coronavirus crisis for the regime is rather a security threat. There have been at least 13 prison riots across Iran since the coronavirus epidemic. Iranian prisons don\u2019t have the minimum hygienic facilities and equipment, prisoners, whether infected or not, are kept in the same cells and prisons are highly populated.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">These riots across Iran reject the regime\u2019s claims of having released over 80 thousand prisoners. In addition, the continuation of prison breaks and prisoners\u2019 rebellions, despite the regime\u2019s utmost readiness and mobilization after the first and second cases, shows that the regime\u2019s control and administration system in the prisons has been shaken. For the mullahs\u2019 regime which is based on domestic oppression and export of terrorism abroad, this is rather an existential threat, in line with the Iran protests, which showed the Iranian people\u2019s willingness to overthrow the regime.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Over 12,000 protesters were arrested in November Iran protests, some have contracted COVID-19 but none have been released. Killing prisoners and not releasing them along with forcing people back to work amid the coronavirus, confirms that the regime intends to use the coronavirus to oppress the Iranian society rather than controlling the virus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Yet, the destabilization of the regime\u2019s control of prisons demonstrates the depth of its instability and desperation in controlling Iran\u2019s explosive society, which is in a bigger de facto prison. The factors that forced the prisoners to risk their lives and confront armed forces are the same for ordinary people. These factors, including maximum economic pressure and oppression along with the deadly coronavirus, spread by the mullahs\u2019 regime, have made the Iranian society explosive.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Now the regime\u2019s officials, are fearing the post-coronavirus situation and the emerging uprising.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">On Monday, the state-run\u00a0Hamdeli\u00a0daily wrote that the \u201cIslamic Republic must prepare for tougher crisis and possibly violent and extensive protests and general discontent.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Also, on Monday, the state-run Resalat daily wrote: Coronavirus impacts the more deprived sectors of society \u2026 The bankruptcy of low-income families has already started, and gap and post Coronavirus inequality will aggravate, leading to new inequality and gaps\u2026 New people will join the already deprived people.
