The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI<\/a>) announced this afternoon, April 22, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a033,800<\/strong>\u00a0in 295 cities across Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

The death toll in various provinces include: 5,770 in Tehran, 3090 in Qom, 2,660 in Razavi Khorasan, 2310 in Isfahan, 1570 in Khuzestan, 1325 in Eastern Azerbaijan, 1095 in Golestan, 1075 in Western Azerbaijan, 900 in Kermanshah, 880 in\u00a0 Fars, 840 in Hamedan, 755 in Lorestan. This is in addition to cases registered in other provinces.<\/p>\n

The Iranian regime claims that international sanctions have hampered its ability to import medicine to fight the coronavirus crisis in Iran. A glance at its state-run news agencies shows that the regime has imported tons of medicine and medical equipment just within 2 months. However, the regime hoards many medicines & medical equipment imports and reports indicate that it sells the humanitarian aid it receives at several times the cost.<\/div>\n

The number of new cases, especially in the city of Qom, and the number of hospitalized patients are once again on the rise This is the result of lifting quarantine measures and neglecting hygiene regulations. All the while, regime President Hassan Rouhani insists on ordering people back to their jobs. Even state-run outlets and officials are voicing concern on this catastrophe. If our lower class loses trust & hope, such pressures can lead to dangerous results.<\/div>\n
