The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, April 27, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a03<\/strong>6<\/strong>,<\/strong>2<\/strong>00<\/strong>\u00a0in 301 cities across Iran.<\/p>\n

As the\u00a0coronavirus outbreak<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>claims more lives in Iran, the Iranian regime\u2019s president, Hassan Rouhani, announced on Sunday, that all the\u00a0<\/span>holy shrines<\/span>, mosques, Friday prayers sermons<\/span> and other religious sites will open starting early May. <\/span>Like<\/span>\u00a0the regime\u2019s criminal decision to send people back to work amid the coronavirus outbreak,\u00a0<\/span>reopening religious sites, particularly in the month of Ramadan<\/span>, will result in more coronavirus cases and<\/span>\u00a0casualties.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two mid-level Iranian health officials implied that the regime was covering up coronavirus figures with one saying that the real stats were 20 times higher than official figures.
\nAn epidemiology professor at Tehran\u2019s Medical Sciences University told a state-run daily that he believed the figures being announced by Iran\u2019s Ministry of Health were \u201csystematically much lower than reality\u201d.<\/p>\n
