As the coronavirus continues claiming people<\/span>\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0lives in Iran, the Iranian regime\u2019s officials, instead of helping people<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0continue their inaction and cover-up and\u00a0<\/span>as they do,\u00a0<\/span>they make more contradictory remarks. These remarks show that the regime in its entirety has no intention of helping people<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The regime\u2019s president<\/span>, Hassan Rouhan<\/span>i<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0has been leading the\u00a0<\/span>regime\u2019s campaign of deception and lying. As more people continue to die, on Wednesday he blatantly said:\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>People are at peace; if they need essential foodstuffs, they are available in shops; if they need sanitary stuff, they are available in stores; if they need hospital beds, they are availabl<\/span>e.\u201d He made\u00a0<\/span>this remark<\/span>, while earlier this month Rouhani and the regime\u2019s supreme leader Ali Khamenei forced\u00a0<\/span>people\u00a0<\/span>back to work amid the coronavirus outbreak, citing economic difficulties.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0In justifying this, Rouhani ha<\/span>d said: \u201c<\/span>The coronavirus is a disease, yet unemployment is a great danger. The coronavirus death should not be contained while there will be deaths due to poverty and unemployment.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Thursday Rouhani said:\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>Most hospital beds are empty. Our country\u2019s statistics on Coronavirus fatalities show our success has been significant compared to other countries<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0The conditions of those<\/span>\u00a0who<\/span>\u00a0contracted the virus, those hospitalized, recovered, and those\u00a0<\/span>who have<\/span>\u00a0lost their lives is as desired<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the same day, Rouhani\u2019s Health Minister Saeed\u00a0<\/span>Namaki<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>told Khamenei\u2019s website<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0\u201cSome think that we have many hospital beds. The ratio of hospital beds for every 1000 people is 1.6. The most underdeveloped European countries have five times more beds\u00a0<\/span>than\u00a0<\/span>we have. The\u00a0<\/span>ratio\u00a0<\/span>of nurses compared to beds in worst cases in Europe and the US is two to three times more than ours.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Rouhani, while trying to downplay the crisis by comparing Iran under<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0mullahs\u2019 rule to\u00a0<\/span>W<\/span>estern countries<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0blatantly said: \u201c<\/span>Many heads of states in phone conversations<\/span>\u00a0said yes<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0we are aware of your statistics, we know your figures, your roadmap. All of them expressed appreciation to Iran for carrying out a strong, coherent work in dealing with this virus<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mina\u00a0<\/span>Moharez<\/span>, a member of the committee to deal with\u00a0<\/span>c<\/span>oronavirus in the Health Ministry, told<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0state-run,\u00a0<\/span>Vatan<\/span>-E<\/span>mrouz<\/span>, on April 29<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0\u201cStatistical fluctuation in the Health Ministry\u2019s reports indicate that Coronavirus is more active every day since the chain that spreads it to other parts of the country has not\u00a0<\/span>been\u00a0<\/span>cut. This virus is strongly contagious\u2026 Removal of restrictions on people moving around deliver<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0severe blows to the health of the citizens, and if proper steps are not taken, we have to witness new waves of the spread of Coronavirus and the death of our compatriots.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0<\/span>Babol<\/span>, Dr. Alireza\u00a0<\/span>Jalali<\/span>, head of the Medical Sciences University, told Khabar-e\u00a0<\/span>Dagh<\/span>\u00a0(Hot News), today<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0\u201cCoronavirus has taken on a new life in the city, and the number of hospitalized patients has increased. So far, 109 patients are in the ICU.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These contradictory remarks<\/span>\u00a0once again\u00a0<\/span>confirm the\u00a0<\/span>Iranian Resistance\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>repeated calls that the Iranian regime has no intention of helping people. For Rouhani and Khamenei and other regime\u2019s officials the o<\/span>nly thing that matters, is preserving their regime. These contradictory remarks among regime\u2019s officials and their intensified infighting\u00a0<\/span>also portrays<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0regime\u2019s fear of people\u2019s outrage and the emerging threat\u00a0<\/span>of an uprising. Therefore, they try to frame one another for the crisis<\/span>, meanwhile none of them takes an<\/span>y<\/span>\u00a0action.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Mrs. Maryam\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Rajavi<\/span>, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a><\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0said:\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>For Khamenei and Rouhani, the lives and well-being of the people are worthless. They only want to protect their regime from the threat of uprising. The criminal decision to send people to work is a crime against humanity and will cause countless number of victims<\/span>\u00a0of COVID-19 in Iran.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For Khamenei and Rouhani, the lives and well-being of the people are worthless. They only want to protect their regime from the threat of uprising.
