The political system in Iran is uniq<\/span>ue in terms of theory and inner organization. In fact,\u00a0<\/span>the word \u201cIslamic Republic\u201d could be replaced with<\/span>\u00a0the keyword<\/span>\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Republic<\/span>\u00a0of Sultans<\/span>,<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span>b<\/span>ecaus<\/span>e from any aspect we look at the mullahs\u2019 regime\u00a0<\/span>in its\u00a0<\/span>entirety, we see plenty of\u00a0<\/span>institutions creating and raising corruption.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Corruption has been defined in various way<\/span>\u00a0but Transp<\/span>arency International\u00a0<\/span>defines corruption as \u201c<\/span>the abuse of entrusted power for private gain<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Corruption is like a disease in the political, economic and\u00a0<\/span>administrative<\/span>\u00a0structures and institutions. Researchers have\u00a0<\/span>divided corruption\u00a0<\/span>in<\/span>to different aspects.\u00a0<\/span>They include<\/span>\u00a0political<\/span>, economic and administrative\u00a0<\/span>corruption;<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>s<\/span>tructural and behavioral corruption<\/span>;<\/span>\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span>single and systematic corruption as well as other divisions.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian regime\u2019s structural corruption<\/span>\u00a0is currently<\/span>\u00a0the most devastating form of corruption. If structure\u00a0<\/span>is an almost durable relationship between<\/span>\u00a0the members and components of a whole\u00a0<\/span>under a collection\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0<\/span>values, principles, rules and <\/span>etiquette, <\/span>the Iranian regime\u2019s structure<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0which is inseparable from corruption, has\u00a0<\/span>ravished the entire social and economic system.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The emerg<\/span>ence<\/span>\u00a0of vast corruption within the regime\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0governing pillars, the publishing of its news even\u00a0<\/span>by the state-run media, people publicly\u00a0<\/span>sensing discrimination,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>huge\u00a0<\/span>gap between social classes,\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>accumulation of some privileged individuals\u00a0<\/span>while\u00a0<\/span>most of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>population\u00a0<\/span>live\u00a0<\/span>under the poverty line are undeniable truths.\u00a0<\/span>Therefore, the army of unemployed and hungr<\/span>y people<\/span>\u00a0could be seen both within and\u00a0<\/span>around the cities.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The governing body\u2019s insufficiency and economic problems, such as inflation and\u00a0<\/span>unemployment, systematic corruption of all the institutions including\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>government, parlia<\/span>ment, Judiciary and military institutions, implementing harsh\u00a0<\/span>and inhumane rules on\u00a0<\/span>lifestyle<\/span>\u00a0which have\u00a0<\/span>limited social freedom, high\u00a0<\/span>social dissatisfaction and\u00a0<\/span>violence used against it such as the one used during Iran protests in November and January,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>cover-up and\u00a0<\/span>deceit\u00a0<\/span>which could be seen during the Ukrainian passenger jet<\/a> downing\u00a0<\/span>and all the social classes disappointment<\/span>\u00a0are the least achievements of the inglorious \u201c<\/span>Republic<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Clearly, all the regime\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>theorists\u00a0<\/span>at\u00a0<\/span>different levels<\/span>\u00a0give warnings in this regard.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Saied\u00a0<\/span>Hajarian<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>a \u2018<\/span>reformist<\/span>\u2019<\/span>\u00a0theorist who was unsuccessfully assassinated by the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC)<\/a> forces on March 12, 2000, and is currently a\u00a0<\/span>top theorist to the regime<\/span>\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0so-called \u201creformist\u201d faction, in an article\u00a0<\/span>titled \u201cForty years, the beginning of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>end or a fresh beginning,\u201d published on\u00a0<\/span>January 26, 2019, wrote:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/i>It seems that if we continue our path in\u00a0<\/span><\/i>the\u00a0<\/span><\/i>future with the same\u00a0<\/span><\/i>method<\/span><\/i>\u00a0that<\/span><\/i>\u00a0we did within the last forty years, we will fall into the valley\u00a0<\/span><\/i>of downfall and deterioration.\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Therefore,<\/span><\/i>\u00a0we should have a new plan. The\u00a0<\/span><\/i>main noble human life index in\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Iran warns<\/span><\/i>\u00a0us. Abiding by law, unemployment<\/span><\/i>\u00a0and inflation rate, economic growth rate,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0GDP, transparency, democracy, corruption,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>e<\/span><\/i>nvironmental pollution<\/span><\/i>, inequality and social\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>harm, piles of judiciary cases etc. do not\u00a0<\/span><\/i>promise an honorable human life, and we know <\/span><\/i>that we cannot rely on oppression for handling the situation.\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By\u00a0<\/span>emphasizing\u00a0<\/span>indicators<\/span>\u00a0of an \u201chonorable life\u201d which has been deprived from the Iranian people,\u00a0<\/span>Hajarian<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>confirm<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0that the \u201c<\/span>Republic of\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u201d is about to collapse.<\/span>\u00a0Although this security element of the regime has no worries for the Iranian people\u2019s freedom and lives<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0and he only cares\u00a0<\/span>for the regime\u2019s survival.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0<\/span>a part of his<\/span>\u00a0article\u00a0<\/span>titled<\/span>\u00a0\u201cThe third way: enriching institutions\u201d published\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0<\/span>March 2, 2019<\/span>, he<\/span>\u00a0wrote:\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span><\/i>Indicators<\/span><\/i>\u00a0and statistics are foretelling an undesirable situation for future generations. Such a situation\u00a0<\/span><\/i>will result in\u00a0<\/span><\/i>a\u00a0<\/span><\/i>reduc<\/span><\/i>tion<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>of\u00a0<\/span><\/i>reserves<\/span><\/i>, over increasing of\u00a0<\/span><\/i>migration and slum-dwellers\u00a0and finally\u00a0<\/span><\/i>social harms such as coercion,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>beggary and depravity. As I previously wrote, our\u00a0<\/span><\/i>government simultaneously faces<\/span><\/i>\u00a0tests of<\/span><\/i>\u00a0legitimacy and\u00a0<\/span><\/i>efficiency, and if it does not resolve these two issue the situation will be <\/span><\/i>the\u00a0<\/span><\/i>same; and administrative corruption,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>rent distribution and patronage will\u00a0<\/span><\/i>eat\u00a0<\/span><\/i>at\u00a0<\/span><\/i>the government lie a termite.\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Although\u00a0<\/span>Hajarian<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>addresse<\/span>d<\/span>\u00a0the regime\u2019s current government, he clearly s<\/span>aw\u00a0<\/span>the so-called \u201ctermit<\/span>e\u201d attack\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0<\/span>the entire\u00a0<\/span>rotten regime and warn<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0about it.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides the admission of the regime\u2019s security\u00a0<\/span>elements, a quick gl<\/span>i<\/span>mps<\/span>e<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>at\u00a0<\/span>the news and density of arrests by the regime\u2019s judiciary\u00a0<\/span>confirms how \u201ccorruption\u201d has spread across this system.\u00a0<\/span>Therefore,\u00a0<\/span>discovering<\/span>\u00a0and execution\u00a0<\/span>various<\/span>\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u201d within the last few years was not irrelevant.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cCoin\u00a0<\/span>Sultan<\/span>\u201d and the \u201c<\/span>Bitumen\u00a0<\/span>Sultan<\/span>\u201d were executed; and the\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>of sugar, oil, carpet and gas, rice,\u00a0<\/span>i<\/span>ron and even diapers and medicine were one after another exposed in the state-run media.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>fish in\u00a0<\/span>troubled waters.\u00a0The existence,\u00a0increase\u00a0<\/span>and level<\/span>\u00a0of their success\u00a0<\/span>is because of the regime\u2019s lack of transparency, rents, critical situation and<\/span>\u00a0inefficient rules<\/span>, full of\u00a0<\/span>political and economic\u00a0<\/span>wavers<\/span>. These\u00a0<\/span>Sultans\u2019<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>survival is conditioned to the existence of a security umbrella, which is provided by the Revolutionary Guards.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of these\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>are direct and close relatives of some of the regime\u2019s politicians.<\/span>\u00a0Their\u00a0<\/span>growth<\/span>\u00a0without support\u00a0<\/span>from\u00a0<\/span>those holding\u00a0<\/span>onto\u00a0<\/span>power and richness in society is a\u00a0<\/span>myth<\/span>\u00a0and unrealistic. The corruption of some of the regime\u2019s officials and their children,\u00a0<\/span>wining extrajudicial\u00a0<\/span>points within the last few years, have become a ground\u00a0<\/span>for\u00a0<\/span>growth and boasting\u00a0<\/span>by\u00a0<\/span>these\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, using the word \u201c<\/span>Republic of\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u201d is\u00a0<\/span>not irrelevant.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The IRGC<\/a>\u2019s military intervention\u00a0<\/span>and its oppressive support of these\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and their deeds have created\u00a0<\/span>a supercritical situation for the regime. A supercritical situation which increases monthly and\u00a0<\/span>declines Iran\u2019s national wealth.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, making the effort to expose parts of this collapsing body\u00a0<\/span>could portray a clear image of the<\/span>\u00a0future of the<\/span>\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Republic of\u00a0<\/span>Sultans<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To find\u00a0<\/span>a comprehensive image in different parts, it has been tried to\u00a0<\/span>put the regime\u2019s extensive corruption<\/span>\u00a0into order. Although the chaos of this system has made it difficult to find a\u00a0<\/span>precise and detailed method of searching this corrupted system, but\u00a0<\/span>hopefully it will shed light on the situation for everyone.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
