This <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jamaran.news\/%D8%A8%D8%AE%D8%B4-%D8%A7%D9%82%D8%AA%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%AF-13\/1422440-%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B2%D8%AE%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C-%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AA%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%B6%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%B3%D8%A7%D9%84-%D9%87%D8%A7%DB%8C-%D9%86%D8%B8%D8%A7%D9%85-%D8%B1%D8%A7-%D8%A8%D8%B1%D8%A7%DB%8C-%D8%A7%D9%81%D9%82-%DA%AF%D8%B4%D8%A7%DB%8C%DB%8C-%DB%8C%D8%A7%D8%B1%DB%8C-%DA%A9%D9%86%DB%8C%D9%85\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">article<\/a> is a clear acknowledgment <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">of Iranian society\u2019s explosive situation. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The statistics given by the state-run media<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0outlets<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0in Iran<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2014<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">particularly\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">about<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0economic issues<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2014<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">are usually many times less than the reality. Yet,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">even the<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0regime\u2019s own statistics,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">which<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0portray a picture of Iran\u2019s economic situation under mullahs\u2019 regime<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, demonstrates the regime\u2019s <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">devastating situation. Many university graduates, under the pressure of life, have become workers to continue living with dignity. During the first years after the revolution, we [regime\u2019s officials] created fake state-run unions and eliminated all independent unions leaving [workers] defenseless; so they couldn\u2019t protest and have no one to protect their rights, so their savings in insurance funds become a toy in governments\u2019\u00a0 hands, their purchase power decreased daily and finally, despite their age, they have a much smaller share of the national wealth.<\/p>\n<p>If a worker, before the revolution, could purchase a house in 24-year installments, now in 2020, they must pay 137 years of installments to have a house. If in 1979, a worker was able to purchase a Peykan automobile by only saving 13 months of their income, now, in 2020, they can purchase a Perayd automobile by saving 46 months of their income. If in 1979 each worker was able to purchase 74 kg of meat with only one month of their income, now they can purchase the only 17kg of meat with a month\u2019s income. And if in 1979, they were able to use their salary to purchase 12 grams of gold, now they can use their monthly wage to purchase 3,5 grams of gold.<\/p>\n<p>In a nutshell, a worker\u2019s family table today is a quarter of what it was during the first days of the revolution. Why? Because while workers\u2019 income has increased 900 times, yet approximately, the fuel, bread, and automobile prices have increased by a factor of 3,000, housing prices 6,000, and the coin price 10,000. Of course, this is only about 12-13 million official workers in the country. There are about 5 million workers in the country who are completely forgotten, and their situation is worse. They have unofficial employment, which means they have a much less salary than the official workers. In addition, they are working without having any sort of insurance and social welfare. Yes, this is the essence of our achievements for the workers in these 40 years.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, a huge part of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/iran-protests-2019\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">November\u00a02019\u00a0protesters<\/a>\u00a0[the nationwide Iran protests sparked\u00a0by the sudden increase in\u00a0fuel prices] are the unemployed children of these workers.\u00a0This year,\u00a0what choice\u00a0does\u00a0a government with zero oil revenue and\u00a0a\u00a050% budget deficit\u00a0have\u00a0other than printing\u00a0banknotes? And this means\u00a0a\u00a0higher inflation rate\u00a0and workers\u2019 table\u00a0shrinking, making the next protesting force more explosive.\u00a0Will\u00a0anyone listen?
