In an\u00a0<\/span>interview<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>with the state-run\u00a0<\/span>Fars News Agency, Ahmad\u00a0<\/span>Naderi<\/span>, a member of the Iranian regime’s parliament from Tehran,<\/span>\u00a0from the supreme leader Ali Khamenei\u2019s faction<\/span>\u00a0said<\/span>: “The riots caused by the bursting of the stock market bubble will be bigger than 2017 and\u00a0<\/span>November 2019<\/span><\/a>.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>The\u00a0<\/span>fabricated<\/span>\u00a0boom in the stock market is the last bullet fired by the neoliberal government\u00a0<\/span>[a reference to the regime\u2019s President Hassan Rouhani and his government]<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>The transition from industrial and productive capitalism to commercial capitalism is a familiar pattern in neoliberalism<\/span>,\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Naderi<\/span>\u00a0said.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>The stock market bubble will burst, and I am worried about its social and security implications for the near future: bigger riots than 2017; 2019, and certainly bigger than the 1990s<\/span>,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>consecutive<\/span>\u00a0warnings of the regime’s economic experts in recent weeks about the collapse of the country’s economy have now raised concerns among regime officials in parliament.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The most recent sign of the regime\u2019s economic failure<\/span> was their recent decision to remove four zeroes from the currency.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)<\/a>, described it as the most important sign of the official recognition of the economy\u2019s bankruptcy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Removing zeroes<\/a> from\u202fthe\u202fnational currency is a more political measure from the government rather than an expert and technical one and\u202fis\u202fa\u202fpart of the package of economic reforms.\u202fIn this regime, with\u202finstitutionalized\u202fcorruption,\u202fthis would result in\u202fa\u202fhigher inflation rate and more pressure on\u202fthe people.\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n
