NCRI –\u00a0In an article entitled \u201cCollusion of Turkey and Russia over Syria,\u201d the state-run Siyasat-e Rouz (Today\u2019s Politics) newspaper on January 2 wrote: \u201cThe cease-fire in Syria upon the agreement between Turkey and Russia was established while some political observers consider the absence of Iran (regime) in the agreement an important question that incites ambiguity and doubt. They believe that the two sides of the agreement had some trade-offs over Syria and must be held accountable and respond to Tehran.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut, the question is why the role of Iran (regime) with all its influences in the region is ignored in the regional equations,\u201d the newspaper added.<\/p>\n
The state-run newspaper then shows grievance and protest regarding the role of Turkey in the cease-fire agreement and continues: \u201cThe point is that how a country that has played a negative role since the beginning of the crisis in Syria allows itself now to make decision about the forces that were able to change the dark and ominous fate of Syria by their presence in that country?\u201d<\/p>\n
Siyasat-e Rouz then, in an escape-forward response, expresses concerns about the consequences of the agreement, which is the eviction of Iran regime\u2019s affiliated militias from Syria, and writes: \u201cIf there is a provision in the ceasefire agreement between Turkey and Russia for the removal of non-Syrian forces, the first forces that must leave Syria is Turkey\u2019s army that entered Syria\u2019s soil like an intrusive and uninvited guest. In addition, the forces of resistance front (Iran regime\u2019s militias and mercenaries) did not enter Syria at the request of Turkey to leave the country later at their request and leave Syrian people and government alone with the terrorist groups.\u201d<\/p>\n
The state-run newspaper at the end admits that the agreement is completely in favor of the Syria\u2019s opposition (Resistance) combatants and writes: \u201cSo far, this agreement has benefited the terrorists and other armed opposition groups and of course Turkey.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
