As\u00a0<\/span>the coronavirus death toll<\/a> continues to surge, instead of helping people, the Iranian regime<\/span>\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0officials are\u00a0<\/span>trying to shift the blame\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>poor people.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian regime initiated a cover-up and lying campaign about the COVID-19 crisis in Iran, which resulted in the virus spread<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0rapidly across Iran<\/span>. For weeks, the regime refused to declare a national quarantine, and when it did, it was not accompanied\u00a0<\/span>by governmental aid.\u00a0<\/span>Therefore,<\/span>\u00a0fearing more\u00a0<\/span>citizens<\/span>\u00a0join<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>army of starving<\/span>\u00a0people and as the possibility of a nationwide uprising emerged,\u00a0<\/span>the mullahs\u2019 regime\u00a0<\/span>quickly\u00a0<\/span>forced people back to work amid the coronavirus outbreak.\u00a0<\/span>The regime\u2019s policy has now resulted in\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>new and rapid rise of the COVID-19 casualties<\/a> in different cities.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, despite the continuous increase of casualties due to the regime\u2019s inaction and cover-up,\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>mullahs are\u00a0<\/span>pursuing the reopening process. Yesterday, the regime reopened holy shrines across Iran <\/span>and all the businesses\u00a0<\/span>that were<\/span> considered having a high-risk area to be open<\/span>ed<\/span>\u00a0today.\u00a0<\/span>Holy shrines have economic and political benefits for the clerical regime, allowing them to receive money in\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>form of endowments<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>trying to manipulate people using their religious sentiments and boosting the moral<\/span>e<\/span>\u00a0of their oppressive forces and organizing them to control the restive Iranian society.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now instead of\u00a0<\/span>helping people, the regime\u2019s president Hassan Rouhani, who has been leading the regime\u2019s deception and cover-up campaign<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>projected blame on the public and threatened to re-impose restrictions<\/span>. In\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0phone<\/span>\u00a0call<\/span>\u00a0with the regime\u2019s Interior Minist<\/span>e<\/span>r<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0Rouhani said:\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThere<\/span>\u00a0have been reports from several provinces<\/span>\u00a0indicat<\/span>ing<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the virus spread has increased<\/span>\u00a0due to the people\u2019s disregard for health protocols<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>If the people of these provinces and cities do not observe the health protocols, we will have to reinstate some of the limitations.<\/span>\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In another conversation with the governor of Khuzestan province<\/span>, one of the epicenters of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>virus in Iran<\/span>, he<\/span>\u00a0said:\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>I<\/span> have received a\u00a0<\/span>full report of the growing trend of the number of patients in this province due to the\u00a0<\/span>people\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>lack of full compliance with health protocol<\/span>s. T<\/span>he increasing number of patients may lead to the return of some restrictions to the province<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with Rouhani,\u00a0<\/span>Sa<\/span>e<\/span>id\u00a0<\/span>Keshmiri<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>the secretary of the National Coronavirus task force in Bushehr province<\/span>, in an interview with the state-run Javan website on Sunday said:\u00a0<\/span>\u201c<\/span>Negligence towards\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>Coronavirus will lead to difficult days<\/span>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rouhani is the same person who had said: \u201c<\/span>It is better to have<\/span>\u00a02 to 3 million people die of\u00a0<\/span>COVID-19<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>than<\/span>\u00a0to have 30 million starve to death<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the official news agency, IRNA, wrote on Monday: \u201cThe difficult economic conditions caused us to relax social distancing and under the rubric of smart social distancing, which created a new environment for the spread of the pandemic. We do not have a specific treatment and standard to deal with those infected. The medical personnel are exhausted and extremely fatigued because of the heavy pressure of their work in recent months.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, Mrs. Maryam\u00a0<\/a><\/span>Rajavi<\/span>, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran<\/a> (NCRI) said: <\/span>\u201cInsolence and projecting blame on others will go on ceaselessly until the regime is overthrown and is a well-known pattern of the anti-human mullahs who are the main culprits for death and destruction in occupied Iran.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
