On Tuesday, hundreds of Afghan citizens <\/span>held <\/span>a <\/span>protest<\/span><\/a> outside the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy<\/span> in Kabul<\/span> against the regime\u2019s crimes against Afghan migrants, particularly two recent <\/span>mass killing<\/span>s<\/span> of Afghan <\/span>migrants in Iran<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> demonstration<\/span> in Kabul<\/span> was organized by the Afghanistan Solidarity Party<\/span>. Participants condemned the attack by the regime\u2019s forces <\/span>on a vehicle of Afghan migrants, which resulted in some Afghan citizens <\/span>being <\/span>burn<\/span>t<\/span> alive. <\/span>A <\/span>similar protest<\/span> was held <\/span>in Helmand province.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reports from Iran indicate that on June 4, the Iranian regime\u2019s forces opened fire on a car carrying Afghan migrants <\/span>in Yazd, central Iran, <\/span>which resulted in their car crashing and catch<\/span>ing<\/span> fire. <\/span>Three<\/span> Afghan migrants were <\/span>killed,<\/span> and <\/span>others were seriously injured. The regime\u2019s security forces left the scene<\/span> immediately.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahmad <\/span>Tarhomi<\/span> Behabadi<\/span>, <\/span>the <\/span>political deputy of Yazd<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> Governor, tried to whitewash this crime by laying the blame on victims for not paying attention to the security forces\u2019 warnings.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Weekly-Signe-up-logo\"<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe driver continued to drive on the wheel rings, and due to sparks from the rings, high speed, and flammable material, the car caught fire<\/span>,\u201d he blatantly said.\u00a0<\/span> While by<\/span> making these remarks, <\/span>Behabadi<\/span> tried to portray <\/span>the <\/span>regime\u2019s security forces as <\/span>guardian<\/span>s of peace, reports from Iran confirm that over 50 Afghan migrants <\/span>were arrested, viciously <\/span>tortured,<\/span> and drowned by the regime\u2019s border guards in early May.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During their protest<\/span>s<\/span> on Tuesday, Afghan citizens <\/span>also <\/span>condemned the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC<\/a>) border guards drowning <\/span>of <\/span>over fifty Afghan migrants in May.\u00a0<\/span> In Kabul, demonstrators splashed red paint on the regime\u2019s embassy<\/span> and demanded its closure with the regime\u2019s ambassador expelled.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian regime, with it institutionalized corruption, oppression and terrorism has b<\/span>rought nothing but misery for the Iranian people and the people in the Middle East. Therefore, th<\/span>ese crimes against poor migrants<\/span> are<\/span> in line with the regime\u2019s crimes against the Iranian people, particularly now, amid the COVID-19 crisis<\/a>, and regime\u2019s inaction and cover<\/span>–<\/span>up in handling it.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Due to the sever<\/span>e<\/span> economic situation and after decades of war and chaos, Afghan migrants go to Iran <\/span>as breadwinners of their families. Yet, the mullahs\u2019 regime kills, <\/span>discriminate<\/span>s<\/span> and disrespect<\/span>s<\/span> poor migrants. The regime has also been <\/span>recruiting Afghan<\/span> migrants to fight its proxy wars<\/span>,<\/span> particularly <\/span>the Syrian war since 2011.\u00a0<\/span> By granting them <\/span>residency <\/span>and $<\/span>1<\/span>500 a month,<\/span> they regime has been manipulating and forcing Afghan migrants to fight for Bashar-al Assad\u2019s regime in Syria.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard<\/span>, <\/span>Parviz<\/span> Fattah, the head of the <\/span>Mostazafan<\/span> (Abased) <\/span>Foundation, <\/span>told<\/span><\/a> the state tv that Qassem Soleimani received funds from his foundation to pay 1,500 a month to the members of the regime\u2019s Afghan proxy group <\/span>Fatemiyoun<\/span> in Syria.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian Resistance has condemned the regime\u2019s <\/span>crimes against<\/span> migrants in Iran. The Iranian regime has brought nothing but chaos <\/span>for the people of Iran and the Middle East.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
