The <\/span>Organization of the Iranian American Communities<\/span> (<\/span>OIAC<\/span><\/a>)<\/span>,<\/span> held a virtual conference, attended by senior U.S. lawmakers and personalities, unveiling House Resolution 374 to counter Iranian regime\u2019s threat<\/span>s, U.S policy, <\/span>and necessary measures to be taken to support the Iranian people in their quest for freedom.\u00a0<\/span> This resolution <\/span>i<\/span>s be<\/span>ing<\/span> unveiled <\/span>while the Iranian society grapples with the various crisis, including the COVID-19 pandemic<\/a>, economic hardship, <\/span>and particularly after the nationwide Iran protests in 2019<\/a> and the regime\u2019s brutality which resulted in over 1500 death<\/span>s. Res. 374 has been brought to the attention of Mike Pompeo, U.S. Secretary of State, this week <\/span>with <\/span>the <\/span>names of 220 co-sponsors and a policy suggestion that the U.S. administration <\/span>should<\/span> take <\/span>in<\/span>to account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This resolution is a unique and significant <\/span>initiative for various reasons. Iranian Resistance has been a target of Iranian terrorism.
