The <\/span>International Atomic Energy Agency<\/span><\/a>\u2019s Board of Governors called on the Iranian regime on Friday to <\/span>stop denying the agency access to two suspected former sites and to cooperate fully with it, diplomats attending the meeting <\/span>told the Reuters.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According<\/a> to Reuters this resolution calls on the Iranian regime \u201c<\/span>to fully cooperate with the Agency and satisfy the Agency\u2019s requests without any further delay, including by providing prompt access to the locations specified by the Agency<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>)<\/span>, while welcoming<\/span> the<\/span> IAEA Board of Governors\u2019 resolution, said<\/a>: \u201c<\/span>The policies and actions of the mullahs\u2019 regime, five years after the nuclear deal with the P5 + 1 countries, leave no doubt that this regime has never give up the project to acquire an atomic bomb and continues the deception and concealment. The regime uses all the facilities and concessions that the nuclear deal has given it to pursue terrorism, foreign warfare and domestic repression<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian regime used loopholes <\/span>in<\/span> its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA<\/a>), to <\/span>secretly pursue its longtime dream of obtaining a nuclear bomb.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Immediately after the<\/span> P5+1 and Iran\u2019s regime<\/span> sign<\/span>ed<\/span> the nuclear deal on July 14, 2015, Mrs. Maryam <\/a><\/span>Rajavi<\/span> said: \u201cC<\/span>ircumventing six Security Council resolutions would not prevent the mullahs\u2019 deception and the quest to obtain an atomic bomb.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Activating the trigger mechanism, re-imposing six UNSC resolutions, bringing uranium enrichment to a complete halt, closure of nuclear sites, having access to any suspicious site at any time, are needed to prevent the Iranian regime\u2019s access to the A bomb.https:\/\/t.co\/fa7cgF3p0E<\/a><\/p>\n

Citing the regime\u2019s malign activities, United States withdrew from the JCPOA and <\/span>reimposed<\/span> sanctions on the regime. The regime followed its old method of blackmailing and nuclear extortion by gradually reducing its so-called \u201ccommitments\u201d to the JCPOA.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this regard, <\/span>i<\/span>n an interview with <\/span>the <\/span>Fars News Agency on April 5, Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Iranian regime\u2019s Atomic Energy Organization, <\/span>acknowledged: \u201c<\/span>Nuclear activities, as well as research and development on the nuclear fuel cycle, uranium conversion, and enrichment (including production and storage), are being carried out without any restrictions\u2026. Enriched uranium production and stockpile are now as high as pre -JCPOA period, heavy water storage is being carried out without any restrictions the process of building the Arak heavy water research reactor (new design) is advancing in cooperation with foreign parties and the use of related equipment<\/span>.<\/span>\u201d <\/span>H<\/span>e continued: \u201c<\/span>Despite the JCPOA, many research activities have continued (such as research on high-quality, high-performance centrifuges). It\u2019s a logical combination of improving quality and increasing quantity \u2026 like using new centrifuges, besides increasing the number of old running machines<\/span>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Salehi\u2019s remarks<\/span>, the regime\u2019s breach<\/span>es<\/span> of <\/span>its commitments under the terms of the JCPOA, and most importantly the <\/span>new <\/span>IAEA resolution and report<\/span> are good indication<\/span>s<\/span> that the mullahs\u2019 regime has never abandoned its nuclear weapons project and continues to hide and provide false and misleading information while accelerating its illegal nuclear activities by taking advantage of the <\/span>global <\/span>c<\/span>oronavirus crisis<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iranian Resistance was the first party to expose the regime\u2019s <\/span>secret <\/span>nuclear activities for obtaining a nuclear bomb. <\/span>T<\/span>he Natanz uranium enrichment site and Arak heavy water facility <\/span>were <\/span>revealed<\/span> by the NCRI<\/a> and MEK<\/a> <\/span>in August 2002, and subsequent revelations, unveiled the extent to which the regime\u2019s clandestine nuclear weapons<\/span> work had advanced<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The number one state sponsor of terrorism <\/span>obtaining <\/span>a nuclear bomb <\/span>has been and is <\/span>a serious danger<\/span> not only for <\/span>the Iranian <\/span>people,<\/span> but<\/span> it is<\/span> a catastrophe <\/span>for <\/span>the Middle East and <\/span>across<\/span> the globe.\u00a0 As Mrs. <\/span>Rajavi<\/span> said: \u201cA<\/span>ctivating the <\/span>‘snapback’ <\/span>mechanism, reinstating six Security Council resolutions, completely halting enrichment, closing the nuclear sites, and anywhere, anytime inspections are imperative in preventing Iran\u2019s ruling religious fascism to acquire the atomic bomb<\/span>.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
