NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF June 26, 2020, 6:00 PM CEST):<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, June 26, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a061,500\u00a0<\/strong>in 340 cities across Iran.<\/p>\n

The death toll in various provinces include: 4,685 in Khuzestan,\u00a03,635 in Khorasan Razavi, 3110 in Gilan, 1945 in Alborz,1,657 in West Azerbaijan, 1,515 in Golestan, 1,510 in Kermanshah,\u00a01,245 in Kurdestan,\u00a0607 in North Khorasan, and 525 in Hormozgan. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.<\/p>\n

Another Setback for Iran Regime\u2019s Propaganda Against MEK<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A\u00a0German court<\/a>\u00a0has just ruled in favor of the\u00a0National Council of Resistance of Iran<\/a>, in a case challenging the content of a newspaper article purporting to describe the situation in a compound near the Albanian capital of Tirana,\u00a0Ashraf-3<\/a>, that houses members of the\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI-MEK)<\/a>. Both the compound and the\u00a0MEK<\/a>\u00a0have been targets of extensive disinformation campaigns by the Iranian government ever since members of the MEK finished relocating to Albania from Iraq.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The recent court ruling made it clear that the article,\u00a0published<\/a>\u00a0on May 13 in the\u00a0<\/span>Frankfurter Allgemeiner Zeitung<\/span><\/i>, had violated essential journalistic standards in presenting certain allegations as factual, and would have still been in violation even if the relevant allegations had been presented with a less definitive tone.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Resistance Units bravely took to graffiti in public places in different cities with the slogans: \u201cRise up to overthrow the regime of the Supreme Leader,\u201d \u201cDemocracy and freedom with Maryam Rajavi,\u201d \u201cWe will continue to struggle until the day of freedom of Iran,\u201d \u201cDown with Khamenei, hail to freedom,\u201d \u201cWe will overthrow the criminal regime.\u201d
