The\u00a0People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI)<\/a>\u00a0announced this afternoon, June 28, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than\u00a062,100\u00a0<\/strong>in 340 cities across Iran. The death toll in various provinces include: 3725 in Khorasan Razavi, 2895 in Mazandaran, 2030 in Sistan and Baluchistan, 1690 in West Azerbaijan, 1535 in Kermanshah, 1362 in Hamedan, 1285 in Fars, 1270 in Kurdestan, \u00a0794 in Yazd, 595 in Hormozagan,405 in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces.<\/p>\n

A member of the regime\u2019s parliament called for State Security Force\u2019s intensifying crackdown on women in reaction to their open opposition to the compulsory veil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to promoting the culture (of Hijab), combating women who\u00a0remove their Hijab<\/a>\u00a0requires the action of the State Security forces,\u201d Ali Akbar Karimi, member of the regime\u2019s parliament from Arak said while calling for more vicious crackdown on women.<\/p>\n

Referring to the growing open opposition to the mandatory veil in public, he said, \u201cThere are more and more examples of\u00a0women who flout the veil<\/a>\u00a0in the open and because they are not dealt with, these behaviors have become prevalent in society.\u201d<\/p>\n

Message of Prof. Dr. Rita S\u00fcssmuth to the International Conference at Ashraf 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Prof. Dr. Rita S\u00fcssmuth, Speaker of the German Bundestag (1988-1998), and former Federal Minister, sent a message of solidarity to the International Conference at Ashraf 3 marking the 40th anniversary of the beginning of the Iranian Resistance. In parts of her message, Prof. S\u00fcssmuth said:
\nWhen I think of your life, it becomes clear that we are looking for examples which show a different kind of approach in relations between women and men.
\nLiving in partnership and equality, such that it becomes possible for women to enjoy a different status in society, a different level of recognition that has been missing for a long time and is still not available in a number of countries.
\nBefore you recognize someone as a man or a woman, you see them as a human being. The stereotypes of strong male and weak female would no longer be credible as both of them are human beings.<\/div>\n

The verdict of \u201ccorruption on earth\u201d has been approved for eight cases related to the mentioned incidents<\/strong><\/p>\n
