NCRI –\u00a0The former Iranian MP announced that 50% of industrial towns were shut down and the remaining 50% are working at less than half capacity.<\/p>\n
The state-run Basij News (basijnews.ir) on Friday, February 10th 2017 released a report quoting the former Iranian MP, Alireza Khosravi that:”every day we witness the closure of production units, like the closure of 700 gold-selling units, and protests of the farmers against the distribution of milk products with low prices.”<\/p>\n
The former MP questioned the figures and statistics presented by Rouhani’s government and stated:”Mr. Nobakht (Planning and Budget Organization chief) should be asked that how is he supposed to achieve single digit inflation in this year? Only by registering 7500 unregistered stagnant manufacturing units? These desperate measures are attempts to conceal their unsuccessful economic plans in the 11th government.”<\/p>\n
